Swedge

Damien had made a fuss that night.

“Why the f**k would you let her go. You’re not the one with the broken nose and a smashed car. It wasn’t your call dude, why would you do that?!” He yelled, alongside other profanities.

“Piss off man. If you hadn’t been yelling with that deceitful girlfriend of yours, all these wouldn’t have happened,” Jacob yelled back.

“She said she was drunk!”

“And you believed her man. Seriously, you believe that crap. This ain’t the first time, neither is it the second nor the third, yet you take every rubbish that spews out of her mouth. A lady mistakenly gets into your brawl, she gets hurt even, yet you want to take out all your frustrations on her. You know what! You are a b**ch, bro.”

Damien threw a punch at Jacob's face, jolting him backward and onto the table in his study.

In turn, Jacob leaned off the table and rushed towards Damien, sending his own punch right into Damien’s abdomen.

Although Jacob was furious and in a fit of rage, he avoided Damien’s nose. He knew more force on it will permanently maim it.

Damien launched forward, ready to send another blow but Jacob intercepted him midway by grabbing onto Damien’s fist. With that, he shoved him hard. Damien stumbled backward and crashed against the bookshelf, sending a couple of books falling to the floor.

The door to Jacob’s study suddenly swung open and in ran Richard and Elijah, friends to Jacob and Damien.

They had gathered with their girlfriends for the usual hangout at Jacob’s mansion. Damien had come later all fuming and had called Jacob aside.

Richard and Elijah from Damien’s demeanor knew something was up, so when they began to hear the fracas, they rushed in.

“Hey! Hey! Hold up,” Richard exclaimed, holding Damien back, while Elijah held Jacob.

“You had no right!” Damien fumed.

“Oh! Go sulk somewhere else,” Jacob interjected, scrunching up his face.

Damien pushed against Richard’s arms, aiming to get to Jacob but Richard held him back, then began dragging him out of the room and into the living room.

“What was that all about?” Elijah queried.

Jacob didn’t give him any response. He just ran a frustrated hand over his hair, went around the table, and plopped down on his seat.

Elijah knew Jacob quite well. In his mood, he wasn’t going to divulge anything, even if a gun was put to his head. That was why he didn’t ask more questions. He just turned on his heels and left quietly.

Jacob had tried all he could to separate Damien and his girlfriend, Bianca but Damien wouldn’t have it. He was hooked to the lady that treated him like crap. According to Damien, he had always gotten all he’d ever wanted, be it money and women. But never in his life had he met someone who was giving him a tough time like his girlfriend. Just like that, he was hooked. He believed he was truly in love.

He loved the fact that she chastise him whenever he messed up. She hardly picked his calls or reply to his texts, but he thrilled him that she was making him work for her attention. He felt he needed the challenge of things that’d always came easy for him.

Jacob was convinced that the lady was only acting that way because she was simply not interested in Damien. He as well didn’t know how to tell Damien that his girl Bianca had been hitting on him for quite a while now.

One time, she had knocked on his door in the middle of the night, during a massive downpour, and he had opened to see her soaked to her skin. He didn’t hesitate to let her in. He had fetched a towel and had told her to go up into one of the rooms to dry up. She had explained that her car broke down nearby but due to the rain, she couldn’t get through to the mechanic and had opted for Jacob’s house.

Truth be told, Jacob found her attractive and alluring, adding to the fact that that night, her wet see-through gown was hugging her curves, exposing her bossom that was only shielded by her black underwear. From behind, you could see the lines of her panties moving to the sway of her peng hips as she made her way upstairs.

Jacob had been moved but he didn’t act on it. He had believed she was genuinely in need of help, not until he told her before she entered one of the rooms that he was going to inform Damien did he realize her intent.
