I was lying down, with Misa next to me, both of us in our natural states. Taking a moment, I could finally realize how beautiful she was. Clear skin, amazing proportions, and a peaceful sleeping face.
At this point, I was quite certain that she had feelings for me, but I wasn't sure what I was feeling. More importantly, I felt like even if I had romantic feelings for her, would I be able to give her what she needed?
My physique wasn't a problem for her at all, in fact, it seemed like she appreciated my body a lot, but I had nothing else to give her.
'What is it that she actually likes about me?'
Even if the age difference didn't matter at all in this world, I was still just a freshman at the academy, with no influence or status. I was a nobody.
"Hrmm, you're already awake again?" A sweet, alluring voice came from the newly awakened girl. Sitting up a bit, my eyes couldn't help but stare forward, at her big lovelies.
Looking down at me, she teased me with a small grin, "Like what you see?"
'Where did the shy girl go from last night?!'
Raising my head, I looked up into her beautiful eyes, and put on a deadpan expression, "I do. I like it a lot."
A slight blush emerged on her face. She pushed me down and flipped onto me, covering every little bit of my body with her softness.
"Then you wouldn't mind having some more fun before you have to go?"
Although it was a bit hard to talk, with her chest surrounding my head, I responded with positivity,
"Of course not."
Thus we got into another round of primal pleasure before I had to leave for training.

"That's enough for now!"
"Yes!"
We ended our little sparring session, going as per usual with me being beaten black and blue every time I got caught.
Wiping the sweat from my head with a small towel, I started to leave the room,
"Wait, I just remembered!"
Turning around, I asked, "What?"
Wearing a stern expression, he started to talk about the situation at hand,
"Do remember that just because the duel was canceled today, you and Suzuka will have to engage in one as soon as possible. We can't just have our sacred tradition spoiled because of some little mishap."
'I already figured it would turn out like this. I'm just happy it bought me some more time...'
"So when is it gonna happen?"
Although it wouldn't help me to know the date, as I would still train as hard as I could, it could ease my mind a bit.
"It will have to be after the ranking battles, unfortunately. The good thing about that is that if you do badly at the little tournament, you still have a chance to raise your ranking."
'Isn't that optimal? Not only will I get to have prior combat experience, but I will also get a second chance at showing my worth?'
"What are you guys talking about?"
The third person in the room didn't have any idea about what we were talking about.
"Oh right, you didn't know... This young lad managed to challenge Suzuka during his first week of training."
Sarah let out a voice of surprise and a bit of exasperation, "You did what Miren?! We don't even have our rankings yet, and moreover, what did she even do for you to need to fight her?!"
It wasn't too surprising of a reaction, honestly. There was truly no logical reason for me to duel Suzuka. I was objectively weaker, holding a lower M.G., we barely had any interactions and on top of that, we didn't even have any rankings when I challenged her. Luckily for me, the last reason was no more, but the rest remained.
"It just happened."
Still wearing a questioning face, she chose to not inquire further, "Okay... Is that the reason why you are forcing yourself to spar, even though you are hurting your body?"
"Yes."
Giving her the answer she wanted, I didn't feel like she needed to know that I would do so no matter what. I still needed to get stronger, not just for a silly duel, but to survive the incidents that would surely occur.
"I still think it's stupid... But fine, you make your own decisions. By the way, I need to borrow you for the night, you can look at it as a sort of repayment for my help."
Our teacher wouldn't let a statement like this go unnoticed, "See?! You truly are a lady killer!"
Even though I had no idea what she needed my help with, I knew it wasn't what my teacher imagined. A slightly blushing girl retorted to his stupid comment,
"That's not it Mr. Borr... It's about someone else..."
'So it's about James, huh? Did she feel threatened by Kim last night? It did seem like James was quite interested in her...'
"Sure, I don't have any plans for the night anyway."
Shining brightly, she smiled and grabbed my hands, "Thank you! I'll treat you to dinner tonight then!"
"Yes, yes."
****
We were currently sitting in a private room in, what I could only assume to be, an incredibly expensive restaurant.
Sarah was wearing a somewhat casual, but still incredibly stylish, outfit. Black shirt, packed to the brim, paired with some white cloth pants.
I, on the other hand, was wearing my student uniform, as I didn't have anything better to wear.
'I have to buy some nicer clothes, too bad I'm broke...'
Feeling some slight inferiority, Sarah kicked off the conversation.
"Miren, I need your help..."
"Yea, I assumed so. So what do you need?"
Twisting her body a bit, her face heated up, "So you know Miren... I actually have a... A bit of a..."
Not wanting to have to listen to her whimpers of embarrassment, I interjected, "A crush on James, yes I know."
"What?! You know?! How?!"
'How could I not know? You have spent the majority of our time together trying to show your good sides to him, even forcing him to dance with you...
Instead of speaking about her obvious act, I chose a more discreet way, "I just thought you looked at him a lot."
Accepting my explanation, she calmed down a bit, "Oh, is that it... You sure are perceptive aren't you?"
As she collected herself, she continued speaking about the matter, "You're right, I think I like him... No, I most certainly like him, a lot even. But it's like he doesn't even look at me as a girl, he just sees me as a friend."
A bit confused about how I could save the situation, I tilted my head, "So, what do you need me to do?"
'I'm not even a girl, how would I know anything about charming a man?'
"Well, before I had some suspicions about your and James... relationship..."
Beet red once again.
"You mean when you wrongly thought we were gay and were secretly dating each other?"
In a low voice, she confirmed my question, "Yes..."
A waiter came into the room and placed our food and drinks on the table. Steak and red wine, a classic combination that caused my mouth to salivate. Taking a bite of the tender meat,
"So what about it? Now that you know that I'm not into men, how could I be of help?"
Without even looking at her food, most likely because her focus was elsewhere,
"You are dating Misa right?"
'I suppose that's how she would view it...'
"Hmm, not really, no. We just enjoy each other's company, as well as each other's...."
"Please don't say anymore... I get it..."
She didn't want to experience the cute little hare in front of her talk about his nightlife, ruining her picture of a cute little brother.
"No matter what, you still have more experience than me. So please, how can I get Jamea to view me as a woman, not just a friend?"
'I have no idea! I didn't date anyone for over 40 years, and the situation with Misa just happened by coincidence. How am I supposed to know?!'
"Why don't you ask Brad instead? He seems to have a lot more experience than me?"
Her face darkened a bit, and she spoke rather rudely, "He is just a playboy, he probably doesn't know anything about actually wanting a real relationship."
She did have a point, it didn't appear that he was the kind of person to want to settle down in the near future.
*Haaa*
Sighing, I accepted the situation, and resolved myself to do my best, "So you want to hear what I think you should do?"
Shooting me an intense look, as if to not miss a single word, she confirmed, "Yes!"
"Fine, this is what I think you should do..."
Putting down my cutlery, as to make my next statement even more important, I spoke with clarity,
"Tell him you like him, and ask him to go on a date with you."
...
Silence filled the room, and she stared at me without moving a muscle.
"I'm sorry, say what?"
"Tell him you like him and ask him on a date."
Having completed my job, I continued to enjoy the delicious food and drinks.
