Fashion Show

All her curves were perfectly defined and it was a wow wow moment. Her black hair fell on her shoulders giving her a plus look. She wore shirt heels since her last experience at the event left her feet swollen.

Trevor was agape at this goddess standing right in front of him. She was the definition of beauty. Her diamond earrings danced to each step she made. The exquisite gold necklace lay on her neck delicately. She was the fashion show herself.

I could feel myself as we walked out of the boutique. The boutique attendant took a couple of my pictures and complimented me that she would be hanging them in their store. Trevor carefully held my hand as we walked out majestically.

He hurriedly opened the passenger door for me then took his seat comfortably. He tightened up his seat belt and I did the same.

We drove quietly on a crowded street as we headed to the venue.

We stepped out of the car and headed for the entrance where different people of high status were. It was extraordinarily crowded. Reporters we're as well present in plenty. I was surprised when they came rushing towards us.

"Mr. Trevor Martins, you are known as the CEO of the miles corporation but why do you always refuse to have interviews with us?" one of the reporters asked.

"Mr. Trevor Martins, you are in a relationship with the famous model Carol, right?" came another one.

"Mr. Trevor, who is this lady beside you? Are you having two relationships at a go?" questions were coming in rapidly and my head was now loitering. I raised my eyes and looked at Trevor who had a bright grin on his face. Can't he see the am getting dizzy with these annoying reporters?

I was on the verge of losing consciousness. but I had to stand my ground. I couldn't embarrass him on such an occasion.

"My life is so private and I wouldn't like to change that. If I feel like making a special announcement in the future then I will happily invite all of you." Trevor simply answered the curious reporters as his smile didn't leave his face even for a moment.

Finally, the reporters buried their curiosity and stepped aside giving us some space to breathe. I exhaled deeply as we freely walked to the grand entrance of the large conference hall where everyone was now socializing. I took a glass of water from the waitress and gulped it to soothe my dizziness from earlier. It was my first time facing too much of camera flashes. I was so nervous and it was obvious as it registered on my face.

"Take it, easy babe," Trevor whispered to me and carefully squeezed my hand in affirmative. I simply nodded and inhaled numerously to calm myself down a bit.

We walked toward a couple and respectively greeted them.

"Longtime. Trevor." Jonas hugged Trevor. Seemed like two long-lost friends.

"Hi, nice to meet you. Am Hazel." Hazel greeted me as her eyes scanned me but I didn't give it a thought.

"Nice to know you too. You can call me Linda." I simply introduced myself to her but she seemed to be curious about me.

I turned my attention to Jonas and gave him my sincere greetings. He seemed warm and friendly. Jonas and Trevor went deep into their conversation and I was left with Hazel.

"So Linda, how are you related to Trevor?" she asked, breaking the deafening silence between us.

I took another sip of my wine before answering her..." he's my boss."

She seemed unsatisfied with my answer as she smirked and mumbled again...

"Employee and employer relationship?"

"Yep." I simply answered back. she wanted to know more but I wasn't ready to tell her a thing. Not to mention that I know nothing about her.

Meanwhile Trevor and Jonas.

"Bro, who's that beautiful lady over there?" Jonas asked Trevor.

"And what about you. Who is that Hazel girl?" Trevor fired back.

"She just insisted on following me to the fashion show. She's been chasing me for more than two months now but I don't think I can be serious with her." Jonas as he looked in Hazel's direction.

"Oh okay. Then why not give her the right to follow you for Life. She suits your character." Trev teasingly said as he patted Jonas' shoulder.

"don't dodge questions Trev. Who is that girl?" he insisted on asking again?

"She's one of the fashionistas in my company. She did well and I brought her to this show." he hid his complexion in a glass of wine.

"Full of lies. Explain it. When did you start caring about your employees that much?" Jonas was now getting irritated with his friend's behavior.

"Spit it." Jonas continued. He wanted a satisfying answer. He understood his friend since they met in high school. He knew his ways and how close he can be to people. He wasn't someone who could just get close to girls. His circle had a few people and they were all guys.

"Uggh.. What's with you Jonas. Can't hide something from you." he said and laughed because this friend of his understood both sides of him.

"Well, she's my employee, my neighbor, and also my baby girl." He said lowering his head to hide his embarrassed face.

"ha ha ha ha. I knew it bro. I knew something fishy was going on." Jonas laughed as he held his friend's shoulder in a childish manner.

Trevor shoot him a sharp glare and he immediately stopped laughing.

"Ahem." he cleared his throat and continued. " The last time I was updated with your information, you were deep in love with Carol, the mighty woman," he said while scratching his head.

He quickly lifted his head and..." man, don't tell me you are playing two women at a go." he exclaimed.

Trevor just rolled his eyes at him and pinched his ear.

"Carol cheated on me with the bastard CEO of Sipo group. I'm only dating Linda," he spoke but Jonas felt that his voice had a hint of paint. It was so sour.

Jonas clenched his fingers in anger. How could she? Trevor has been head over heels in love with her. He bought her fame to fulfill her dream of becoming famous. He kept his distance from important people only for her happiness but still, she decided to dig more gold and cheated on his friend. Such a greedy woman.

Hazel was still serving Linda with her endless annoying questions. She asked for unnecessary things. So annoying.

"For how long have you been working with the miles corporation." she continued.

"I will use the bathroom." she seemed not to hear her previous question and excused herself. She's never seen such a concerned woman in her life. She wanted to know every bit of her moves, her relationships and all. Linda couldn't stop wondering why someone she just met was so interested in knowing about her life.

She breathed in while watching herself in the mirror. With all the confidence in her fine looks, she unhurriedly stomped out of the bathroom and quietly walked back to the room. Trevor was also done with his socializing and it was time to find seats since the show was a few miles closer to the start.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this year's special fashion show where the world's best designers have been invited to give us a chance to have a look at their special designs." the Mc announced followed by a big round of applause.

Everyone in the audience happily applauded as they were so eager to see what was coming next.

Without waiting any longer, models started walking in soundly with the designs that were going to be showcased tonight. Evening gowns, party gowns, wedding dresses, office wear, lingerie, were all gorgeous. Products were limited and expensive so the chances of getting to buy one were low.

It all depended on how many votes you could get on a particular piece of cloth. Orders started rising as almost everyone wanted to have a piece.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you to this show once again, and we hope that you are having a good time already. Next, we're going to vote for our lovely supporters. All these orders on the board are too many to be got in one day." the Mc announced.

He continued." Each design that caught your eyes has only five pieces in total. And who to take a piece will be determined by the number of votes from the audience. Simply send a message according to the number position of your choice and we will see the one that gets the bigger number. The voting session has officially started." he said and with that, he stepped aside to watch the fun as well.

People continuously dropped their votes to the choice of numbers they wanted. Linda also picked up her phone and sent some votes to different numbers. She wasn't in a position to compete with others since every piece here coated her a half-year salary. All she could do. was to wait and applaud the winners.
