Going Shopping (2)

Joseph and Rudy were already out of sight with the 2 bodyguards assigned to them. Jeanohntae was walking all around the mall just staring at everything. She did not know where to start first.

Christian noticed her eyes wandering around. "Is there an attractive person you're looking for!??"

Jeanohntae lifted her head to look at Christian. "What!?? Are you crazy!?? I'm just looking."

Christian smiled. "Point to a place that caught your attention first and then we'll start there."

Jeanohntae still found it difficult to decide. "If you can't pick then I will." Christian said pulling Jeanohntae along with 3 bodyguards following.

They stopped at the first place. It was a famous clothing shop. The shop manager walked over and greeted them. "Hello sir, madam. Is there anything I can help you with!??" The manager did not recognize him as the famous Christian Maddox that no one has ever seen.

Christian did not look at the lady's direction. Instead he kept his eyes on Jeanohntae as he spoke. "Yes, get me everything in her size including shoes. If she likes it, or if you think it will look good on her. We will take it all."

The shop manager gleefully accepted. "Please follow me madam, I will help you take your size."

"Chris, that's too much. You don't need to buy everything. I'm...."

Before Jeanohntae could even finish her sentence, Christian cut her off. "I don't want to hear it, I told you, if you don't pick, I will pick for you. Now hurry and go." Christian smiled at her. He could not wait to see what clothes he was about to buy.

After Jeanohntae was finished playing dress up, the lady came back to Christian who was sitting patiently. "Sir, madam is finished and everything has been packed."

Christian stood up to pay for everything Jeanohntae got. He was surprised that there were only 4 bags. He thought she would have gotten more.

After they were done, they went to a different part of the mall and entered another clothing store. But this time, it was for ladies undergarments. Christian did not realize what he had walked into. When he finally noticed, he quickly turned his back.

Jeanohntae started to laugh at him. "See that Chris, that is what happens when you get too excited about shopping. You walked right into the ladies department."

"You.." Christian turned around to look at Jeanohntae but quickly turned back around. Jeanohntae was still laughing. Another lady walked up to them. "Madam, uh.. and sir." The lady was confused to see Christian turned around.

Jeanohntae looked at the lady and apologized. "I'm sorry ma'am. He is just a little shy."

Christian protested. "I am not shy, I just did not realized I walked here. I have respect for the lady's privacy that I don't think it is appropriate for me to look."

Jeanohntae just laughed. "Okay Chris, whatever you say."

The lady was just staring at the couple and smiled. "Is there something I can help you with madam!??"

Jeanohntae looked hesitant to answer knowing Christian was there. "Umm. I just need to pick out a few. Any recommendations about what looks good on me will be really helpful."

Christian cleared his throat. "I'll be outside when you're done."

Before Christian left, the lady called to him. "Sir, there is a place you can sit." Christian reluctantly followed after them keeping his head down. When they got to the place Christian can wait, he handed Jeanohntae his card, for he did not want to walk up to the register and pay.

Jeanohntae was still laughing at Christian. "Madam, please follow me and I will take your measurements." Jeanohntae followed the lady to take her measures and started going through everything.

When she was done, the lady hesitated but asked. "Madam, if you are interested, I have a beautiful lingerie for you."

"Umm... sure, you can put it with the rest. Thank you." She did not know what she would do with a lingerie. However, she did not want to be rude and refuse. She finished paying for everything and went to find Christian.

"I'm done, we can get you out of here now." She grinned at him. Christian was relieved. The more he stayed in there, the more it felt like hours.

They finally left the place and Jeanohntae was getting tired and Christian can see it. "We can go home if you're tired."

"No, I want to get things for the bedroom and the bathroom." Christian could not deny it and followed Jeanohntae. They walked into another place to look for decorations.

She picked out bath bombs, decorative hand soap, shampoo and conditioner for the bathroom. "Do you really need all that!??" Christian asked gazing over the items. Jeanohntae smiled. "Of course. Bath bombs are relaxing to bathe in. I loved the smell of the hand soap and I need shampoo and conditioner.

Christian did not say more and continued following. Jeanohntae got more excited. She grabbed 7 beautiful gold picture frames, scented candles, new curtains, 2 stuffed animals for the bedroom and 2 gorgeous looking plants for the balcony. She was happy with what she had.

They paid for everything and Christian called his dad who was already at the car with Rudy. When Christian and Jeanohntae reached the car, they all got in. "Can we stop by somewhere!??" Jeanohntae asked.

"Sure doll. Where do you want to go!.?" Joseph asked from the driver seat.

Jeanohntae had a big grin before answering. "A photography studio."

Christian looked at Jeanohntae in surprise. 'No wonder she grabbed picture frames, but why did she need 7!??"

When they arrived to take their pictures, Jeanohntae brought down the picture frames. They took a family picture which went into 2 picture frames. One with Joseph and Christian went into 1 picture frame. One with Joseph and Rudy went into 1 other picture frame. One with Rudy and Jeanohntae went into 1 more picture frame. The last 2 picture frames had Christian and Jeanohntae.

They were so happy with the outcome. Jeanohntae looked at the pictures and smiled, but later frowned. "What's wrong, you don't like them!?? We could redo them." Christian said.

She looked up at him. "No it's fine, but I think we should have invited Nikki and Nellie right!??"

The three men frowned and looked at each other. "No sweetie, it's fine that their not here." Joseph said. Jeanohntae was confused because they were also part of the family. She felt that something was off about the three of them but shrugged it off and left satisfied.

When they reached home and walked inside, they saw Nikki and Nellie waiting for them. The three men frowned while Jeanohntae was smiling. "Hi, we're back from shopping." Jeanohntae said happily.

Nellie looked a little irritated and turned away, but Jeanohntae did not mind because she was thrilled.

"Why were we not invited!??" Nikki asked with a small smile.

Joseph looked at Nikki with a little annoyance and responded. "I did not think you guys would want to join us. Plus, we only rode in one car together."

Nikki nodded with understanding as she saw the maids bring in the bags from their shopping trip. She was a little angry that Jeanohntae got special treatment for everyone while her and Nellie were stuck at home.

Jeanohntae was excited. She looked at them with happiness. "I'm gonna go upstairs and sort out everything." She did not wait for a reply from anyone and quickly followed after Leah.

Christian looked at the woman happily running up the stairs. He could not control the smile that broke out on his face.
