Meet The Butler

The next morning. Christian was already gone from the house and in the office.

Ruth walked in holding 2 framed pictures in her hand. "Sir, here are your request." She placed the pictured down for Christian to inspect.

Christian stopped work and looked at the pictures. A half smile could be seen on his face. He put the pictures in his drawer and looked at Ruth.

"Ruth, please go to this address and pick up a package for me."

Ruth looked at the address and nodded. She turned around and left.

Ruth arrived at the address and saw is what a photography studio. She got down and the photographer handed her the package with Christian's name on it. She wanted to peek inside but refrained herself from doing so.

A few moments later. She came back with the package in hand. Christian got up excitedly and took the package from Ruth. He opened the package carefully like it was a little baby.

Ruth stood on the side waiting for the items to be revealed. When Christian brought out the pictures. Ruth looked shocked.

She saw a big picture of Christian, his father, another older gentleman and Jeanohntae, and a smaller one just like that. Along with 2 smaller pictures of Christian and Jeanohntae.

'When did they take these!?? It looks recent.' Ruth asked herself.

Christian turned to Ruth with a smile. "Ruth, please hang this on the wall behind my desk."

Ruth was so touched and did as instructed. She felt that Jeanohntae was really a lucky girl. Ruth finished hanging the picture and Christian looked at it with satisfaction. He took out one of Jeanohntae's picture and place it on his desk with a small picture with him and Jeanohntae.

Everything was perfect. The office surely had a little change, but in a good way.

Ruth turned to leave Christian mesmerizing the picture.

'It's simple, but it definitely brightened the room a bit.' Ruth thought to herself walking out the door with a big smile.

When she walked to her desk. She remembered Jeanohntae gave her phone number. She quickly dialed Jeanohntae's number.

AT THE MADDOX RESIDENCE.

Jeanohntae went downstairs and was greeted by Butler Lu, Leah and the rest of the staff. They were all happy that Jeanohntae was staying with them. Her presence made them feel excited to go to work.

Jeanohntae returned the smile. "Good morning everyone. Glad to see you're all happy in the morning."

Everyone smiled and quickly got back to work to make Jeanohntae more happy. Just as she sat down at the table, her phone rang. "Hello!??"

"Jeanohntae, girl. Come to the company! You have to see this." Ruth did not make Jeanohntae speak and excitedly hung the phone.

Jeanohntae looked at her phone speechless. She looked at Butler Lu and smiled. "Butler Lu, when I'm finished, I'm gonna head to the company."

Butler Lu smiled sweetly. "Of course Ms. Jean. I'll escort you."

After Jeanohntae finished breakfast, Butler Lu and Jeanohntae set off to the company.

When arriving, Jeanohntae and Butler Lu went up to the top floor. Upon walking in. Ruth spotted them. "Jeanohntae, come quick. I just..." Ruth did not finish her sentence when she saw a man next to her.

Jeanohntae saw Ruth's curious gaze land on Butler Lu and she started laughing. "Butler Lu, this is Ruth. Ruth, meet the butler. Butler Lu."

Ruth smiled. "Oh, well nice to meet you." Ruth quickly turned back to Jeanohntae. "Girl, you have got to see the office."

Jeanohntae was still confused but was also curious as to what Ruth said.

Jeanohntae opened the door to Christian's office and her eyes widened when she saw a family picture hanging on the wall with her, Christian, Rudy and Joseph. Her heart instantly melted upon seeing the framed picture on the wall.

Christian looked up and saw Jeanohntae standing at the doorway, he instantly smiled upon seeing her face. He gestured her to come closer.

When Jeanohntae was walking closer to the desk. She saw 2 small picture frames sitting on the desk facing Christian's direction. She immediately smiled and walked around to see.

She was shocked when she saw a picture of her in one and her and Christian in another.

"Where did you get this!??" Jeanohntae asked picking up the picture of her.

"That sweetheart, is a secret." Christian smiled and kissed her cheek.

Christian saw Butler Lu and Ruth from the corner of his eyes standing at the door smiling at them.

He cleared his throat and looked at them. "Butler Lu, take Jeanohntae wherever she wants to go." He handed Jeanohntae a card with her name on it. "Here, this is for you."

Jeanohntae looked shocked to see a black card in her hand. She smiled so big and hugged him. "Thank you Chris, but what am I supposed to do!??"

Christian smiled at her gently. "You can do whatever you want with it. It's yours. Butler Lu will take you wherever you want to go. I still have work to finish."

"Then I'll leave you to your work then." She walked to Butler Lu and walked out. Ruth followed them and started giggling. "Wasn't that cute!??"

"Yes it was. Thank you for calling me over." Jeanohntae said.

Butler Lu and Jeanohntae soon left the company. "Where would you like to go Ms. Jean!??" Butler Lu asked from the driver seat.

Jeanohntae was thinking. "Let's go to the mall, I want to get Christian and Ruth a gift."

Butler Lu smiled. "As you wish."
