-December 17 1842-

It has been more them 3 years since the start of the civil war, with both sides exhausting each other. The only good news being that victory is now assured.

Actually, the civil war could have been won a year ago, the nobility was willing to surrender if they were allowed to keep some of their property and titles. But Alexander didn't agree to it.

Sure, he coule have endes the war early and the nobility would be in line, but what about after? As the memory dissipates they will slowly start going back to their old ways, demanding revoked privelages and then anoyher civil war breaks out. Or even worse, a war breaks out and the nobility seizes opportunity to overthrow him entirely. Its simply better to deal with them hear and now then later, after all dealing with an internal enemy is often times hsrder then an extetnal one.

Not to mention that it is simply a matter of time before the people and nobility clashed as happend in 1917, with the communist revolution overturning the entire country.

*Sigh*

"The treasury has dried up completly, with barely any funds remaining. If not for the seized property from the nobility the empire wouldn't even be able to afford to pay its soldiers. The embargoes imposed are not helping either."

As Alexander was lamenting about the state in which the treasury is in, he heard footsteps and then someone knocking.

"Come in"

"Your highness... Victory has been achieved."

The good news, lifting Alexanders spirits infuse some energy into him and he hurridly snatches the report from the adjutant to read it.

"Good total victory. Great job to all of you With no delay, as planned the execution will take place in a public setting, beheading the nobles one by one after announcing their crimes. And don't worry, everyone will be awarded for their efforts soon."

"Yes your highness"

"I should also get ready for the occasion after all, its not every day you see a noble beheaded. Other then the french revolution

Oh, and I have to prepare a speech."

Alexander is standing on a podium, while a crowd on onlookers watch him. Neaby there is a guillotine and what seems like various nobles tied up and blindfolded. So, Alexander clears out his voice and starts giving a speech.

"Citizens of the Empire! Today, we stand at the threshold of a new age for our nation. For three long years, this land has been torn apart by civil war, a conflict ignited by the very men who now stand before you. They, the privelaged few undeserving of their power clung to their un-fair and detrimental privileges, their unearned power, and their callous disregard for the state of our nation.

They sought to preserve a system built on the backs of our fellow men, a system that stifled progress and bred resentment. They refused to acknowledge the winds of change, the cries of the oppressed, the yearning for a Russia where merit, not birthright, determined one's destiny.

Look upon them! These men, who once held sway over vast estates and countless souls, now face the consequences of their treachery. They chose rebellion over reform, self-interest over the common good. They believed their titles and bloodlines granted them immunity from the laws that bind us all.

But today, I, no WE demonstrate that no one is above the law, be it an aristocrat, an influental figure, or a rich man. All stand equal under the blade that shall judge them all.

Let this day serve as a stark reminder: Russia will no longer tolerate the tyranny of a privileged few. We will forge a nation where every citizen, regardless of their origin, has the opportunity to not only survive, but also thrive.

As he finished his speech he looks at the people below him. HIS people, the men, woman, and children that he leads. Many looking malnourished, wearing tattered clothes and rags. And, as he looks into their eyes Alexander fully takes in the sheer amount of responsibility that he has taken on.

He, but a single men. Is responsible for over 60 Million people. Feeling the weight of responsibility settle on his shoulders he, on the spur of the moment feels the need to make a statement. A promise, To serve as hope for his people.

And let this day to serve as a promise, my promise. I... Tsar Alexander Nikolaevich Romanov swear upon my throne and on my life, To turn the empire into a power the world has yet to conceive.

Afte4 finishing his sperch massive cheers come through the crowd, they were touched by his words. Alexander smiles and starts leaving. As the executions are about to start.

And, as the nobles are sbout to have the guillptine dropped on them, an announcer reads out their crimes out loud for the people to hear.

Finally frew from his busy schedule Alexander finally had time to visit Elizaveta.

So, getting of his carriage he walks in to her residence. His steps heavy.

'Hopefully shes not mad for not visiting her for 2 years'

After some time a maid greets him, as the maid leads the way and Alexander follows her he takes a look around her garden.

This place belongs solely to her. All around hr sees beautiful flowers growing, with bushes and trees carved to form beautiful art works made from nature itself.

As they enter the building Alexander notes the lack of paintings or any kind of decoration on the walls.

Before long the maid stops and says.

"We are here your highness, shes waiting for you beyond this door."

As he braces himself he slowly opens the door, when he does he sees a woman wearing a day dress with floral pattern, whilst also wearing a white flower as a decoration in her hair. As his eyes take in her appearance, a voice brings him back to focus.

"Mind joining me for some tea your highness?"
