The Tree

Cassie brushed the tree branches out of her hair while staring at Dark River packhouse. She needed to figure out a way to get there before dark, or else she would stay there for the whole night.

She didn't want that, she wanted a shower. She grinned to herself as she imagined the warm water hitting her skin. And then saw herself wiping the dripping water out of her body.

"Oh, you are at the brink of going mad, Cas. I suggest we head back to the forest and run in the forest then we can come back later. You enjoyed the feeling, remember?" Cassi's wolf said to her.

Cassie replied, "you sneaky wolf. You won't trick me."

The wolf stirred and Cassie felt it going back to the back of her mind.

The idea of going back to the forest didn't sound bad, she could use a rabbit or something because she didn't see herself staying there for the next one hour without fainting. She shuddered at that idea.
