The Fate of the Cursed Alpha Female

Did someone send him or something? Alpha Rowan and Beta Jean asked themselves as they listened to Tee talking. Krista was by her side, though she was staring at her mate like a lost puppy, she would jump right in front of him if anything happened.

If Luna River were with them, she would have mentioned that her sister was alerted, waiting to hear if Alpha Rowan would say to his beta, "take the man to the cell."

Krista listened as he talked. She hasn't yet asked where the kids were. She didn't have to; she could feel that they were near and safe.

Alpha Rowan sat behind his desk, his hands on the table. He sent Beta Jean a message, (what do you think?)

(Oh, Rowan. Will you kill me if I tell you I am speechless.)

Alpha Rowan stopped staring at Tee and glanced at Beta Jean. (Was that supposed to be a joke?)

(Rowan, I am sure he is telling the truth. I trust him.)
