The Fate of the Cursed Alpha Female

One minute Cassie was watching her mother laughing with Ray and the next minute she was jumping at the man. Cassie stood there, stuck! Just as she was a few weeks ago when she watched the rogues leaving.

To make it worse, Luna River hasn't even felt that they were not alone.

Cassie couldn't move. She tried her mind-link and sent her father a message, yes, she was deep inside the forest but she had to try. Maybe the link would help.

Her mother tackled Ray to the ground and started hitting him. Ray screamed, "River, stop, hey it is me, Ray."

That didn't help. Luna River didn't know who Ray was at the moment. All she saw was black and she knew she had to fight for her life. She was blinded with rage; she didn't even see that no one was fighting her. Ray covered his face and looked around.

His eyes met with Cassie, he said, "please, help."
