Andrew watched as Ivy’s features darkened as she gave him an icy stare. She hurriedly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. He knew she was deeply offended by his accusation.
He couldn’t help feeling angry at her. He wasn’t sure if the anger stemmed from what happen with his brother, or that Ivy had shown excitement about the prospect of meeting up with Alejandro.
“I am sure you know about my brother, Ivy. You must have figured out who he was. You do know it was all because of your stupid match making app and selling him paper planes telling him that one day they will become real and fly. It was like my brother had joined a cult the way he drank in every word you said and believed it. What it did was live him bankrupt with a broken heart and soiled pride.”
Ivy felt her mouth go dry. So he blamed her for whatever happened to his brother? She should have known that this was the force propelling his rage and campaign against her company.
