Matthew Reed, a handsome and orphan millionaire, suddenly becomes ill and seeks ways for treatment. He comes across a mysterious company called "Cryolife" that allegedly freezes people with diseases that still don't have a cure. Matthew decides to go through the procedure and wakes up 1078 years later, realizing that not everything is perfect like he thought it would be.

In this new world, people are mentally developed and the ones like Matthew, who came from the past, have no chance against them. With the help of new friends, he tries to find a way to survive amongst the exclusion, love and mourn.

Matthew found himself in bed again. He opened his eyes, his body was exhausted, his muscles tight. He must have had nightmares. 


It was dark outside, with a cold breeze. Matthew left the bunker and felt the wind on his skin. He walked around the bunkers to see who was sleeping in them. He couldn't see some of the faces since they were sleeping on their faces. But from the hair, Matthew guessed that they were not his friends. 


He continued walking, some people were awake and sitting on the bed, trying to come to themselves. 


"Hey!" Matthew turned to see the source of the voice. 


As far as he could see in the dark, it was Zachary. As soon as Matthew turned to him, Zachary pushed him to the wall. 


"What did you do?! You messed up everything!" Zachary was roaring. 


Matthew pushed him back which made Zachary stagger. 


Chapter 34: Someone in the Dark
