I loved how we can could discover that new world with the help of the characters and how their relationships grew in time. This is a book that almost anyone can enjoy and I recommend it to anyone.

At first glance, this looks like a futuristic novel, sci-fi, or maybe even dystopian, but it's not really about that at all, in my opinion. It's much deeper than that. It's about the sanctity of life and the connections we have with the people in our life. When you read this book, you have to pay more attention to the thought behind the characters' words and actions than what they're saying and doing. It's an interesting, thought provoking read.

I was not so attracted to this book at first, until I read the comments. I am not a big fan of sci-fi stories but as some mentioned, is much more than that. Now, I want to be in this world (post the ending when things get much better) and I am faced with the possibility that the world depicted here can really happen.

I think the story on its own is very catching, it has all the tropes I was looking for. But as I read in the other reviews, the writing style of the author elevated the quality and made me hooked from the start. If you are demanding like myself, then this is the story for you to read.

Wow, what a find. I went in thinking I was getting a classic, sci-fi novel and I came out getting a detailed world with deep, fully fleshed characters I couldn't help but love, and one of the most interesting plots I've found to date! Definitely a great read!

This story is amazing! I'm really impressed with the author's imagination and skill at revealing this mysterious future world little by little. I felt like I was there to discover it along with Matthew and his unlikely allies. I love all the characters and the way they interact with each other, even the unlikeable ones. Can't wait to see what happens!

NO WAY! I 💗 it when stories mix it up and have the POV from a man, and a kind, driven one at that. Also, what a starting chapter. I'm happy we are already thrown into how everything looks good on the surface, but underneath.... Well. I won't spoil anything. 😉

What a fun and intriguing story! This isn't typically a genre I would delve into, but it was so hard not to when this author is a fantastic writer. I found it hard to put this book down when the story is written so well, and the characters are well developed. I loved it!
