Settling into the plush light-blue armchair in Cassie’s room, I took in the grand splendor of the apartment-like suite around me. The decor spoke of royalty and sophistication, with gilded accents and rich fabrics adorning every surface. The soft glow of candlelight flickered, casting an ethereal ambiance over the room. It was so different from the way I had lived back on earth, and to see that people here in this place lived like this… it took me away.
