When it rains

It is only once Liana is in the room, staring at them that Rain realizes how close they were. In a mishmash of limbs, the two entangled together. Orion’s face was only inches from her own.


Rain froze in place, eyes on Orion’s mother, as she stared the two down her disapproval clear. Her eyes locked on Orion’s hands on her hair. 


All at once, Rain’s face turned bright red. In her embarrassment, she flung her hands towards Orion’s face, intending to push him away but only managing to hit his nose. 


Orion cursed as he pushed away, holding his nose which soon began to bleed, he lost his balance. 


With a loud thump, he went toppling off the bed and onto the floor. On his back, he held his nose, groaning as it gushed blood. 


Rain guilty gulped, looking between Orion’s cursing form and Liana’s narrowed eyes.
