'Chapter 1; Rage

Rage is a feeling or expression of violence or uncontrolled anger. People say that everyone has anger. They say it changes people's personalities. This is where my story begins.

20 years ago,

My mother Mary Ann was a generous woman, who gave to the poor and assisted the needy. But that all changed when she had me. You see, I am the firstborn but because I was born a girl and my mother wanted a boy she tried to abort me, but all her attempts to be rid of me failed.

On the 3rd day of June, the year 2000, my parents heard my first cry, my father Andrew Ann was so happy that he named me Karen. Mary wasn't happy so she put my middle name as Belladonna. To remind me that I was a thorn in her side. After me, they were my three other siblings there are two girls and one boy whose names were Jack, Britney and Moonlight. They were bullying me all the time and we never get along, but we have something in common having anger issues.

Present-day,

Then Karen remembers that she was running from the police, she was now looking for a place to hide out for the time being. She finds herself in an uncompleted building. She had to stay there for the night because her mother wouldn't let her into the house after the death of her husband. She laid down on the cold, hard floor and tried to sleep. In the morning she opened her eyes and saw the figures of three girls and four boys. "Who are you people and what are you doing here?" she questioned.

They said that they have been living here for a while.

She apologised in a calm tone that she was sorry for shouting. She introduced herself and said that her name was Karen.

They said their names were Freddie, John, Oscar and Alex for the boys

The girls were Ella, Jessica

and Emma.

'You are welcome to stay here for as long as possible' said Emma.

'But you will need to pay us for your stay here then chipped in by Jessica.

Emma then whispered saying 'Jessica that was rude'.

Jessica whispered back saying, 'but you know we need the money.

Karen put her hand in her pocket and brought out 600 hundred dollars and placed it in Jessica's hand.

Oscar said 'Karen you don't need...'

Jessica shut Oscar's mouth and says with a devilish smile thank you for the money. You can stay for as long as you want.

Ella says that we don't even know why she was here and why the cops were running after you.

Karen is shocked and then says how do you know the police were chasing me.

Ella said it is all over the screen saying that you killed someone so start talking.

Ok I will, I worked as an accountant in one big industry where I was paid well but I was always bullied because I wasn't confident. One day of my colleagues called me an ugly motherfucker and said that I should go back to where I came from. With anger, I stood up from my chair got to where he was and snapped his neck leading to his death. Everyone started looking at me anyhow then someone called the cops. That's how I got here.

Emma the kindest girl I ever knew said that it was not my fault but my bully's fault.

Freddie said that I can stay here.

Alex said but they are some rules: number 1 clean up your mess.

Number2: The pack says together lastly.

Number3: No dating each other.

I promise to obey all the rules.

Ella asked how did I learn that technique.

I learned it when I was in military school. I could teach you if you want.

Ella said with a smile yes, please

I then taught her by the end of the day she knew how to kill someone by snapping their neck.

The night is coming I said

John said we should go and sleep.

He then took us to a secret elevator that led to a cool room where they were seven beds and a television.

I asked Freddie where I was going to sleep. He brought a small bed for me. When I laid down it was so soft and smooth.

The next morning when I woke up everyone had already gotten dressed but they were in a circle looking at something. I then got up to see what they were started at and I saw they were looking at my kill list of people who offended me.

I then quickly grab it out of their hand. I said was sorry that they had to see it.

John said that we can help you with your kill list.

I said that it was a stupid thing I wrote when I was angry.

Ella said that those who made you cry should die

Emma said don't you want revenge

I said ok

Freddie said that you need a weapon

I said ok can I use a sword.

Emma brought out a sword and handed it into my hand.

After bathing and I borrowed some of Ella's cloth, I put them on.

John said now that we are done the first person on this list: is Joshua. Who

is he?

One of the meanest bullies in my school I said.

Do you know where he lives? asked Emma.

Yes, he lives downtown Street in vinewood. I said

That is not far from here said, Jessica.

Okay let go said, Oscar

A few minutes later, we arrived at our destination.

We are here said, Ella

Can we go in? Alex asked

Wait I need to make sure if he still lives here, I said

I entered first and then call them later. I knocked on the door. Joshua opened the door I entered and sat down.

Who are you? he asked

My name is Karen Ann, an old schoolmate remember? I said.

Ohh the girl we all made fun of in school, what are you doing here he said laughing.

I am here to kill you I said.

I called the others they came in.

I then out my sword and said every last word.

He just stared at me

Then I beheaded him, we left the scene of the crime and went to our headquarters.

I took a shower because I had blood on me.

After that, I was hungry and I don't know if Emma read me or what. The next thing I heard is that she bought food.

We all eat at the dining table and discussed our next victim.

After eating then Freddie took my hand to show me the beautiful view.

He then held my hand and lead me in and we kissed. It felt good but I remember that I broke one of the rules.

I told Freddie not to talk about this to a soul. He then promises and gives me a little peg.

Does this mean we are dating? Freddie asked

I said maybe let's go back inside.

When we went back in.

What were you two doing on the rooftop? Asked Alex

We went to see the beautiful view, said Freddie.

Okay just asking said, Alex.

Karen called Ella

Yes, I said

Do you know where your next victim is, I think his name is Shane said, Ella

Who is he to you? Asked Emma

Well, he was my first crush.

Ooh so cute! Laughed Ella

So what happened? Asked Jessica

He asked me to prom then when prom night came. I entered the hall then from above the door a huge punch poured on me. Everyone started laughing at me and then I heard Shane whisper something to his friends saying, The plan was successful.

That's terrible cried Jessica

That was the first time I ever saw Jessica be so emotional.

'We will discuss this tomorrow' said Oscar.

After everybody fell asleep I couldn't sleep so I went to the window to get fresh air.

Then Freddie was standing next to me.

'Why are you here?' he said

When I heard his voice my heart wanted to jump out of my body.

What are you doing here? I said

'I asked you first' he said

'Okay, because I couldn't sleep' I said

'Ok,' he said smiling 😁

Why are you smiling? I asked

He came closer and said, well I just remember the time I kissed you.

Lower your voice I said anger

Okay but did you like it he said smirking

No, I said.

But in my mind, d it said another that.

He raised an eyebrow, but your facial expression says another thing.

'Okay maybe a little I said blushing

'But this does not mean we were dating' I said

'Okay but only time will tell' he said

'Let's go back to sleep' I said

We then went back to sleep

In the morning, everywhere was so beautiful the birds were singing and the sun was shining.

In my mind, I thought it was a beautiful day to kill someone.

Everyone was awake even Freddie.

Jessica was cooking and everyone was busy planning a heist

After I was done bathing, I changed into a casual dress that Ella laid down on the bed for me.

I then joined them to see what they are planning.

Oscar, please can you tell me what you guys are planning.

Oscar said, Okay if you must know we are going for a ban...

'Don't worry about it Karen' said John with a devious smile.

Okay, I said.

I went to the kitchen to see if Jessica was done, cooking.

When I was shocked by how the kitchen was so furnished.

When I was done looking around the kitchen I spotted Jessica washing her hand.

Jessica, how are you doing I said so that she can notice me.

What, she said in a rude tone.

I was just wondering if you and all the girls would like to go out since the boys are busy I said shy

I don't know but I have always been shy when it comes to Jessica ever since I kissed Freddie I did not feel shy.

Okay, sure we can go or whatever she said.

Okay, I will tell others, I said so happily

Whatever do what you want I don't care she said

I went to where Ella and Emma were.

Ella Emma, I said shouting

As they were about to turn I give them a big hug.

Why are you so happy? Ella said with a puzzled face

Well, I asked Jessica if we can all go out today and she said YES, said.

Ohh that's great but we already made plans today so you will have to go with Jessica, Emma said sadly

WHAT!!! I screamed

Don't worry Jessica is a good person you will warm up to her eventually, Ella said worriedly

Okay, have fun don't worry about me I said

Ok if you say so, Ella said.

Now that they have gone I should the news to Jessica.

Jessica, I shouted in the bathroom but she was not there.

So I asked Oscar where Jessica is he said that I should go to the elevator and check for a bottom that has R written on it.

So I what he said and I found myself in a beautiful hallway filled with flowers and portraits.

I saw a door open and when I went to who it is I found Jessica.

Jessica is already getting ready to go so I couldn't decline.

Are you ready to go Princess and do I look good? Jessica said.

She spotted me so I answered.

Princess is not my name and yes you do, I corrected her.

I know but it is much fun to call you that.

Okay whatever so changing the topic what is here about I mean the compartment, I said

Did you think that we were poor that is how we keep this place a secret!? She said

No, so when will I get my room I said

Em maybe I don't know, she said

Okay let go I said.

Where are you going with that thing on your body that you call cloth, she said

But I don't have anything to wear and that is the reason why we are going out I said

Well, you borrow some of my cloth she said.

Ok, I am done what do you think I said

It's okay or whatever she said

When we went downstairs all the boys were staring at me for some reason.

We are going out Jessica said

Okay but come back early Freddie said

Okay, Jessica said.

When we left the building, we went to the mall.

Karen, I going to buy some weapons and you can go buy clothes we will at the food truck outside of the mall, she said

Okay but I need your opinion...

By the time I finished my sentence she was gone.

Well of to the buy clothes I said in my thoughts.

I tested out some clothes on and they looked beautiful on me.

So I bought them and went to the food truck.

I waited for a few minutes then I saw Jessica coming toward the food truck.

Oh you were early sorry that I was later she said sincerely

That was time I ever since Jessica was was

Don't worry it wasn't long I said smiling

You should stop smiling it doesn't fit you, princess, she said

Well, she is back to her annoying self.

Well, going I said.

On our way home we found Ella and Emma.

Ella Emma, I shouted

They then turn their head.

Karen, how are you Ella said

Fine I said

Are you guys heading home too Emma said

Yes can come with us if you like I said

Sure, said Ella

Then we went home the boys were not around.

So Ella, Emma and Jessica we're heading to their room.

Ella, I said

Yes Karen she said

Uh, when do I get me I said.

Oh, Jessica didn't tell you that you are staying in her room she said

Why can't I stay in your or Emma's room I said,

Well I and Emma stay in the same room and Jessica's room is the only one that is available she said

Then I went to Jessica's room I mean our room.

Good, time to sleep you can sleep with me on the bed she said.

Nay does not worry I will sleep on the floor I said

Then went to slumber while I couldn't sleep because of the cool so I had no choice but to go to the bed, to be honest, it was soft.

Then my eyes shut and the amber took me away.

In the morning, I woke up early so I quickly my bath and then slipped into the causal cloth that I bought.

I took my sword and went upstairs to practice.

As I was practising I sensed someone, as they.

I found out that it was just Jessica.

Jessica, what are you doing here I said

I came to practice with you if you want, she said

Okay don't go easy on me, I said

I don't intend to, she said

Okay, first to kick the sword out of the person's hand wins.

Okay, fine by me she said.

The fight had started and Jessica changed in first.

A foolish move I said in my mind

I quickly move out of the way

How is that possible...

By the time she was about to finish her word, I kicked the sword out of her hands

And that for insulting me the other day I said.

I had never lost a fight until today she said.

Well, the fight was easy because of the foolish mistakes you made, I said
