How to be a psychopath? Do you want to be a psychopath? If you're that edgy pre-teen in his early high school years who listens to glitch core and hyper-pop music and you were bullied and depressed, then you are a hundred per cent legit a psychopath already!
I am your self-proclaimed psychotherapist that graduated by only reading WebMD just because I studied reading mental symptoms on the internet that normal people have on a daily basis.
However, I understand how other teens pretend to be psychopaths when they get bullied as a defence coping mechanism from their abusers, which I can respect. I've been there before too. So, it's fine. I understand.
Myth:
"Mental Illness is quirky and cute, making you unique and special despite how half of the population on earth has a mental illness sharing most of the exact same symptoms. Psychopaths are most likely to be the ones who got bullied in highschool."
Reality:
"Psychopaths have less chance to have normal depression than a normal sane person without psychological problems. Unless they are isolated for too, long they become prone to criminal acts and loneliness. The reason for this is that psychopaths love their attention because they are narcissists.
As a narcissist they have too much self-esteem, extreme confidence, lack of fear, and too much ego. And 80% of psychopaths were bullies during highschool, as well as delinquents and juveniles that have committed crimes at an early stage of life.
And no, it's not always murder, they were usually thieves. And 80% of empaths were bullied during high school or born with this toxic gift. Psychopaths have no empathy nor literal emotions towards anyone but to give themselves grandiose self love."
Do you want the most accurate psychological test if you really are a true psychopath because you can't afford to go to a professional psychologist who studied this topic for years?
Go take a quirky quiz on BuzzFeed just to slightly enhance your ego because 100% of the population of stupid actually gives them the results of a high score of psychopathy and they would definitely believe it! Try it yourself today!
Myth:
"The real diagnostic name for psychopathy is antisocial personality disorder and yes, if you're an introvert, you are a psychopath only if you're dumb enough to believe what I'm saying."
Reality:
"Psychopaths are called antisocial due to their prone tendencies to commit criminal acts the more they are isolated from society. Psychopaths are actually twice more social as the average sane person next to the extravert.
As an attention seeker they are more than people doing dumb shit on TikTok for clout/views, psychopaths are antisocial due to their parasitic lifestyle by manipulating, guilt tripping, being toxic, hurting others' emotions, pathological lying in order just to get what they want, and abusing their acquaintances in society since they lack empathy, guilt, and remorse.
They are likely to do such awful things towards another singular or group of people that could mess up their head. They don't need friends. They only see their friends as a toy to use them just for their selfish gain."
Myth:
"Psychopaths are proud of what they are, which is true. Even if they are aware that they are psychopaths, they love it since they are egotistical and have infatuated self-worth. And once someone calls them a psychopath, they love it because it makes them look edgy so it boosts up their ego. Like any other edgy teens who watch The End of The F****ing World on Netflix."
Reality:
"Psychopaths are aware of what they are. Some aren't. But even so, some are proud to be one. Once they are called a psychopath because they were caught red-handed from their wrong doings such as being caught manipulating other people just for others to figure out their schemes, they blow up and get upset.
Usually a psychopath keeps their cool no matter the situation, even if it hurts them, but once they are called a manipulator or anything related to psychopathy, they snap instantly.
And The End of The F****Ing World on Netflix isn't a psychopath but someone with a schizoid personality disorder. Psychopaths have emotions more out-bursting than any other normal person because they abuse their emotions in order just to have an outlet of adrenaline, since they are addicted to getting high from mental to emotional intoxication.
Schizoid Personality Disorder are the ones who literally can't feel emotions due to the chemical imbalance in the brain, most psychopaths have a clear mind but their prefrontal cortex of their brain is damaged which is not considered a mental chemical but a neurological function in the brain that causes empathy and amygdala to function normally which is why psychopaths are fearless, get bored easily, and love their adrenaline by doing the most risk-worthy things despite they know the consequences even death, they'd still do it anyhow. By the way, Netflix, I hate you for ruining my favourite anime."
A psychopath is no psychopath without a proper motive. Their everyday habits of manipulation and the game of deceit, as well as risking their lives through life threatening acts for the sake of just slight adrenaline, seem boring for them now.
Now, I can tell you that there are two types of antisocial people, the psychopath, and the sociopath. A psychopath is born and they are not made. A psychopath has completely no empathy nor can they fall in love and have shallow emotions unless it's cognitive emotion, which makes them look charismatic due to their outlet of emotional flow of appearance.
They are also completely calm no matter what the situation. Even if the building they are inside is on fire and they are at the top floor, it doesn't matter, it only makes them feel exhilarated instead of feeling fear for their lives.
However, a sociopath is made. And has an empathy switch. They can still fall in love and show emotion. In fact, they don't wish to abuse their emotional outlet for the sake of adrenaline, but some do as just an outlet for stress.
They explode in anger too easily. They are barely calm, and their empathy is true, but the only difference is that they can selectively choose and control their own emotional feelings and empathy towards the people they desire to turn on and off their emotions to.
Everything about a psychopath and a sociopath are common like the manipulation and deceit, as well as their risk taking and parasitic lifestyle. What I can say is that a sociopath is low functioning whilst a psychopath is high functioning.
The emotions of the psychopath are only mental and cognitive, but the heart is stoned cold, but a sociopath is dependent on their emotional feelings, overwhelming them easily rather than to use their heads. As I said, how come these differences come to be?
It feels like it's a different mental disorder. No, that is because they are the same but the psychopath was born a psychopath and a sociopath is made by either through emotional or mental trauma, a blow in the head that damages their prefrontal cortex, or through abuse during childhood especially neglect will cause the child to develop sociopathy taking the same form as their abuser later in life.
