A few weeks later, of trying to recover from my psychotic episode in my new home. I went to Santa Monica, California, to move in by myself. I went there because I wanted to self medicate with indica weed from my bipolar mania, and if I ever need to be extremely creative for my job in WebNovel as an online author, I will be smoking sativa weed.
California is the place where marijuana is legal, both recreationally and medical. But I'll only use it medically, but I didn't want to go to a shitty state where weed is only legal for medical purposes. The psychotherapist might give me something else that will worsen my mind with terrible side effects instead of just giving me weed that I can actually enjoy, rather than feeling like shit with other medications.
I weaned off my medications slowly while taking as much as indica weed as I could just for me to relax. It felt amazing where I actually turned normal rather than looking intoxicated. I acted and seemed really normal instead of people laughing at me for looking high as fuck.
I'm a huge fan of GTA V's Los Santos setting but hate the multiplayer version due to griefers and tryhards making the game like a battle royale game.
And the fact that I moved into Santa Monica because I was addicted to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, and it was how I imagined and anticipated during the night times while daytime seemed like Los Santos from GTA V.
I rented a shitty apartment there where it looked terrible and crappy. Crack on the walls, rats everywhere, the mattress was dirty, it wasn't clean, and everything was falling apart. I had to clean it myself and do a makeover by adding some neon lights and replacing the mattress with a new one, having myself replacing my old laptop with a gaming one.
I can't risk carrying around a huge gaming setup around Starbucks just to continue my work at WebNovel. But in case I get bored. I can always just open my old Steam account and play the new Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, which never fucking came out since 2019, and it's 2022, for fuck's sake. So, I just had to play Vampyr. Instead, they're pretty much the exact same thing, anyway. Well, almost.
Until I commissioned someone with my money to improve the graphics of the first Bloodlines game for my gaming laptop, at least it looks like the second game that's supposed to come out. But he scammed me, and he made it an "official" remastered game that I paid for and ran away with it, releasing it on Steam, turning out to be a fraud where he got arrested.
But I contacted Steam about this issue where I got the remastered version of the game for myself, and I released it as a fan game on the MOD DB website where all Vampire: The Masquerade fans get all the mods for free as an unofficial release of the remastered game free for everyone. That was my plan in the first place. But now I got all the credits to myself. Where I put my Patreon and donated money for distributing this game for everyone for free.
They called it the "unofficial better version of Bloodlines 2", with all the clans free to play and not just the vanilla clans but adding all lore-friendly races of the vampires of the game literally.
And that's when I started to commission other people on Fiverr to work together with me where I can expand the game with newer quests, more maps, and hire voice actors for more interactions and more alternate endings to the point where I expanded so big where I made an unofficial massive multiplayer online game and released a Virtual Reality setting in the game where you can use your microphone to talk to not just other players but had my team to work on making the NPC's understand what the player is saying through the microphone to answer them back in the appropriate things to say.
Then, the official company who made the original game wanted to hire me to work for them, but sadly, I told them that they could just hire the freelancers I work with for this one special project. I told them that this is just a small project I do for fun in my free time. I don't want to get worked up and pressured with work just for a game from the gaming industry. I'm telling them it's just a hobby I do when I don't write.
Plus, I also mentioned that I have bigger plans than this small game that blew up. I told them they could just pay me so I could give them the game so they can just expand and modify it anyhow they want. But I refused to work for them even though I'm their biggest fan. Telling them that the bigger plans I have are the true professional I do for a living as my main career.
And it is about writing books and novels. I have a bigger plan ahead of me, and I just did this project as a fun hobby and nothing more, nothing less. So, they paid me around a million dollars or more for this small project, and they hired the other freelancers to take on the job for them, leaving me behind.
It was fun, so I waved my goodbye on the voice call on Discord as they wished I accepted their offer because I was their favourite member of the team and their number one leader and writer. They couldn't think of anything or anyone better to work with because I'm not their boss to pressure them to tell what to do but someone who works with them as equals like the round table and not a rectangle one as myself at the very far front and the rest of them on the sides.
I treated them as equals, and that's what I wanted. But sadly, I can't pressure enough to be told or tell others what to do. I treat everyone equally despite it's either professional or general. I love helping people, and that's what I do. But I still got the money, and I used it to invest it in my writings. But not on stocks or crypto. Trust me, I don't want to invest in NFTs right now.
I'd rather buy a painting for the same amount as any NFT to resell it, but that's just me. I know NFTs are not just monkey drawings with their own unique styles. They are used as tickets to private luxury things such as a restaurant, a party, a club, or anything really.
It's like a password for any underground strip club. But they can also resell this copied and pasted JPEG or PNG file to everyone who wants to buy just for profit- WAIT, okay... To be honest, this makes so much sense.
Now I'm convinced to buy NFTs or probably just screenshot them and make a profit. Just kidding. This actually makes sense. I know I sound stupid or crazy, but I could make money out of buying stupid monkey pictures.
However, you can't screenshot them since if you did doesn't make you the rightful owner of the item just to resell it to other people, while you can still keep the original file to resell it over and over again. Now it makes sense why these are expensive.
MONEY = MONKEY
BAM! Does it make sense? Okay, whatever.
And that's how I invested my money in NFTs. Despite whatever you people might think, it makes so much sense to me.
