We're a package deal

"Am sorry," David says for the fifth time since we came out from detention."I was just trying to get your attention, I didn't mean to get us into trouble," he apologizes.

I stop to take a long look at him before I continued on with my walk.

"Please Danny, am sorry," he continues walking with me.

Right now, I care nothing about his detention apology. That apology doesn't matter to me.

"Daniel!" Erick waves to me.

Seeing Erick made me smile a bit. At least I know he won't hurt me compared to this stupid male who can't take a hint when it's obviously given.

"Hi," I turn and start making my way towards him.

"He called you just now, and you answered while I've been apologizing non stop for minute now, and you've done nothing but ignore me," David whines, but I still didn't talk to him.

Talking to him is like opening closed wounds, one I will like to keep closed for as long as it will take me.

"Are you heading home?" Erick ask.
