"Darling," she walk over to me, "how was school today?" she caresses my face in concern.
"It was okay mom," I force a smile. "you should have seen how clingy Jenny was to me, she doesn't want to let me go for fear I might disappear for two days again." I joke.
" You have such caring friends," mom says as she gives David a look, one he might think indecisive.
" Good evening Ma," Erick greets mom when he came out from the kitchen.
"Oh my God," she envelops him in a hug, "my handsome pie is here yo visit me again," she releases the poor boy, " tell me you came to visit me," she says in seriousness.
" Of course I came to visit you, but saw you weren't around. Dan said you're still at the office," he smiled politely.
I look over at David whose face was clouded in anger, his face trained towards Erick.
" Am leaving," he stood up, looking expectantly at me.
" Bye," I wave my hands in farewell.
