"If you said so." He said it in a tone that made me know he doesn't believe the words I spoke. He looked at the bed I'm lying on, and back at me as if he was trying to get the truth.
"I did." I nervously smile, "I'm only exhausted from the exercise."
"Well, your mother asked you to get the shirt she asked from you. We will be downstairs waiting for you."
"Okay. I will just complete my exercise. Tell her I will be down in a few."
"Good luck with that. Should it help, you can teach me at your leisure."
"No problem. I'm ready to teach you, should, you care to learn." I smile at him, "go ahead, I want to practice in peace."
"Bye, then."
"Don't be late. The dinner has been served, already."
"Roger that."
"Okay."
He closed the door behind him.
This time, I didn't bring my phone out until I was sure he has gone downstairs.
"Phew. That was close."
I wipe the sweat from my brows.
