David hasn't spoken to me ever since that time in the halls; however, I can feel his stares at me whenever I walk past him.
But whenever I turn, I will always see him engaged in one thing or the other. And that made me think that maybe I was imagining the stares.
It's now two days to our bonding ceremony. And David hasn't said anything concerning it.
He hasn't cancelled it yet because Crys kept on talking about the mating ceremony.
So, I don't think he has cancelled it.
Might be he is waiting for that day, so he can officially break things off with me in front of his pack?
"What are you doing today?" Mother leaned on the door.
"The children and I were initially going to help the pack in getting building sand for making cement. But I think we will stick with getting water for them.
At least that task isn't difficult for the children. They can also play while at it."
