Dressing

Lili dragged Bella with her into that room. Both were dumbstruck to see many mannequins dressed up in heavy and gorgeous white dresses. Lili felt as if she was in heaven with many angels. "WOW!" both exclaimed at a time.

While Liliya was taking time to adjust to the beautiful white room, Bella ran to a mannequin dressed in multiple layered dress with heavy stonework on the top until the waist. "Lili! Take this! It's wonderful!" Bella shouted with happiness. Her eyes were filled with tears as her fingers ran on the beautiful design.

But Lili's mouth twisted upon seeing the dress. "Do you really think that I can handle this bulky dress?"

"You should! This is the apt dress for the bride of Mr. Cooper. Your dress should be a match for his status."

"What?" Lili was stunned to hear those words. "Really!! You want me to wear this 5kg dress and stand the whole time? But why do you care about him? Shouldn't you see my comfort?"

Bella blinked her eyes. She didn't understand if her words had those many meanings. "Fine! If you don't like it! I just want you to look beautiful, as your photo will be everywhere tomorrow." Saying that, she moved on to the next dress. "How about this? Long train!"

Lili took a deep breath and walked to her. The dress looked simple, with minimal work. "Good!" she exclaimed and walked behind the dress to see the veil that Bella liked. She instantly cringed at that sight of the veil, long enough to clean the whole stage. She wanted to yell again but calmed down. "Bel, you know I am a bit clumsy. I am sure that I would trip on that beautiful dress."

"Ok!!" Bella kept analysing the other dress and making sure that it weighed little and didn't have a problematic veil. But most of the dresses had bulky round lower or heavy stonework or the unnecessary lengthy train. Eliminating all of those, Bella ended up near a dress, which not only looked simple but at the same time, gave a grand designer vibe. "Lili! What do you think of this?"

"Nice!" she exclaimed and run to the dress her friend was suggesting. It was a mermaid wedding dress. Though it looked uncomfortable at the hip part, Lili was fine with it, as she wasn't a chubby person. The dress also had multiple net layers from the hip, which didn't look troublesome. The upper part too wasn't overly decorated, it had minimalist golden design at the waist. However, there was one negative point- 'The neckline,' it was deep. Lili has never worn such revealing clothes. Staring at Bella, she shook her head.

Bella sighed. It irritated her that Lili found fault with every dress. "Fine! Did you like any dress?"

"Yes!" Lili smiled and took Bella to the dress she was looking at earlier.

Bella's lips curled down to see the simple dress. It had a small train; the bodice had no design except for the work that came along with fabric and the skirt too didn't have any volume. "Do you want to wear this for a wedding?" Bel asked the most obvious question.

"Yes! It has a tail that isn't lengthy and a shirt that isn't round, bulky, and spacious. Look! the back has a nice designed deep neckline." Lila demonstrated the dress like a salesperson.

"Who is going to look at your back? This isn't grand and I am sure Niklaus, or the people would love it!" Bella cried. "Choose something a little grander with glittering stones, layered skirt or at least a beautiful train."

"The glittering stones will make me look dull, the layered skirt will make me tired, and a lengthy tail may make me trip over it." Lili sounded stubborn. "This is my wedding. Why should I entertain other people? My comfort is the foremost priority."

While the brief discussion went on, Beau came inside. "Do you want to spend the whole three hours for dress selection?" he exploded. "Finally, after thirty minutes, were you able to select or not?"

Bella stepped forward and questioned, "What do you think of this dress?", pointing to the mannequin that was beside Lili.

"Modest and Decent! Why?"

"Two out of three! The dress is selected!" Lili clapped and walked to inform the staff.

"Is it a suit, to say it as modest and decent?" Bel muttered to herself and followed Liliya.

While the dressing staff were taking her measurements, the hair hairstylist explained his ideas. "We have two options. The first one is the classic wedding bun, which we can decorate with beautiful clips. We can also add a fringe. The second one is basically leaving your hair with more smooth curls. We can try pulling some hair to put some braids at the back, so that the hair doesn't fall on your face. What do you think?"

Bel and Lili shouted at one time, but with different answers. Lili said, 2 while Bella chose 1.

"Bel, I don't want head and neck pain. I can't carry a bun filled with all that stuff." Lili tried explaining to her friend, who seemed reluctant to listen to any of her nagging.

"You chose the dress with deep back and now you want to cover that with your hair." Bella folded her hands and rolled her eyes away.

Everyone sighed at their fight over a hair style. "In that case, we can try a fishtail braid and let in rest on your shoulder." the hairstylist suggested and finally both the friends calmed down.

The makeup lady said her opinions, which Lili and Bel liked. While the stylists worked on Lili, Bel selected a way more simple and plain dress from the lot and got ready by herself. In between, she glanced at Lili to check if everything was going fine. While Beau went out to check on Niklaus, as everything was decided there.

"It's boring! Why don't you see something over that television?" Lili pointed to a corner.

Bella hummed and switched on the TV.

"Oscar Award winner Mr. Stephen Walters has just now tweeted that he was invited and will attend Mr. Cooper's wedding."
