Ch-14

With the Doctor giving her a semi-clean bill of health she and Hermione were to begin their punishments, they were to immediately start cleaning the entire estate (no magic), and when they get that done they are to write a 2,000-word essay on why what they did was stupid and lastly their training will be expanded to include one of the local ex-Military personal from the village for their physical fitness.

With Srgt. Harper, I was able to get more rest and expand upon my experiments, as with the charges in chemistry I had several ideas about industrial-scale potion making.

[I am also being assisted by a couple of the locals who went to college and studied biology, medicine, and chemistry as they are to study the interaction of potions on mundane peoples.]

As in some DND multi-verses Errborn, they have developed massive building-size complex machines that produce gallons of potions a day.

As the DND potions are extremely complex medicines meaning anyone can make them without magical help, unlike the HP-verse potions which are more fluid in their results meaning two wizards using the same ingredients and instructions will have different results.

As the potions here require the wizard to act as a catalyst since the potions here break multiple laws of thermodynamics and physics.

So for now till I can develop a "regulator" for Hp-potions we will be experimenting with potions from DnD. What we have discovered is that plants and some animal parts interact with the human body in weird and extreme ways, for example, let's say you have been shot and drink a healing potion.

It sends your body into a frenzy, first, it will redirect every platelet in your body to the location of the most life-threatening wound, next it will consume any fat or extra tissue to heal the wound. As for that healing it has been done in the fastest way possible meaning it will leave very noticeable scars, but that is in a trauma scenario.

We have theorized In a safe and controlled setting like in surgery it can be used to encourage nerve regrowth. This is something even in my old world we had never done, so that is our main area of study; to 1 make a safe and reliable dosage and 2 to be made on an industrial scale.

And a preliminary test of the equipment we think maybe by December we will have a prototype up and running.

With most of the projects started and given to trusted individuals to watch over, I have finally started on my favorite project the Spell Jammer Ship.

A spell jammer ship is made of two main components, the Jammer helm where a magic user will "drive" the vessel, and the ship itself which must be at least one ton in weight.

To create a helm I need to be a level 6 wizard at least or have access to level 5 spells, in addition, have a crystal rod to act as a resonator for the mage driving.

As for the ship itself, it is anything so long as it weighs at least a ton, so no matter aerodynamics it will act as if was in calm waters with a full backwind (if a sailing ship). But in the modern world sailing ships have been replaced with steel behemoths.

So if I can get a wrecked ship from ww2 and place a helm in it I can use it as an airship so long as I plug the holes and place a helm on the inside.

Thus I started my plan and it required me to spend quite a while in the local library with the help of Primrose Evergreen (Librarian) to research wrecks of Corvette class vessels as much as I want Battleships I have no way of hiding something that big.

So after a day of pure searching and calling other libraries to find out about wreck or scuttled ships we found a ship named the HMS Black Prince that was sunk to do to a blown outside but was still in one piece and was too deep to scrap.

Now I had to get ahold of some very large crystals which I knew where an entire cave network was in Mexico and with some help, via magic I should be able to excavate tons of the stuff.

But before that, I needed to go and check out the HMS Black Prince before I go to Mexico.

With Hermione about to head back home, I let the girls have the day to hang out while I went and scouted out the HMS Black Prince. In this timeline, it sank about 100 miles off the coast of France after the invasion of Normandy due to a torpedo blowing out its lower deck. It then sank like a rock to the bottom of the ocean about 5,000 meters below the surface which is where I now find myself.

To survive down here I had cast Alter Self to change my internal biology to that of a whale, which a collapsible rib cage and a set of gills to help prevent the pressure sickness, with me are a couple of enchanted items to provide heat And light as this far down its pitch black.

Before approaching the wreck I scouted the outside and found the hole, about 10 feet wide and 15 wide it was clear to see how it fell. Entering the vessel I avoided the munitions rack and began to explore, thankfully its crew survived meaning no ghosts or malevolent spirits as I poked around the place.

The ship was eerie as these far down things don't rot and the scavengers of the sea don't mess with the paper meaning maps, letters, books everything was at it was just left waiting for the crew to return. After about 3 hours of meticulous searching, I decided the vessel would do and made my way to the munitions and began to ever so slowly transfigure and disassemble the staggering amount of ammo that this thing held.

That took another 2 hours and with that, I left a marker and made my way back home as I had a potty key to buy.

Mexico is hot way hotter than I had grown used to in the UK, with me was my assistant Hanna Marigold an intense woman that carried herself more like a soldier than the Business major she was.

As she and I were in Naica, Saucillo Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico near a flooded and abandoned mine I knew the future held a massive crystal cave 120 feet below us.

She was able to buy this through some questionable means for me quickly, thus I was again about travel into inhospitable environments I also made sure to leave her a sending stone and a couple of Stones of Returning, as before I left I got my charges which meant Lvl-9.

This time I had Air Bubble around my head and to direct me I was able to get ahold of an old Dwarf spell that would act as a locator for precious stones. To winded the cave I used some transfiguration to compact the soil as I went deeper and deeper into the Earth for about 2 hours into the journey I finally reached the crystals.

Feeling invigorated I set to work cutting out the largest of the crystals some well over 12 meters long and carved out over 50 tones of the stuff meaning I could make an entire fleet of Spell Jammers if I wanted.

August 19th, 1994

Making my way back down to the Prince with my chunk of Crystal and this time I brought a team of my new DND wizards and Artificers only 5 in total but they were the most qualified as in the few months I had given them access to spell books they have reached Lvl-3 meaning they could help.

They were all a mix of the different schools of magic but those I brought were leaning toward the transmutation school and for the artificers, they were all battles Smiths, and with the cargo, we were bringing we would be able to get the ship sealed and moved.

Upon reaching the ship the group of us began to swarm the craft, wizards transmuting the metal we brought leaving no seems and the artificers placing an interactive series of enchantments along the deck with my help for a redeveloped version of the Tiny Hut Spell.

We worked for half a day before the hull and every crack was sealed, I gathered us all and handed out a scroll of Control Water that I had bought from Percy.

I then had them all spread across the deck and with a count of three the still water began to split though they all struggled to keep the weight of the ocean up my magic users got it far enough away and I activated the enchantment.

And a wall of force appeared around the deck and tower of the ship leaving 5 feet of clearance, the mages then began to move below deck to drain it while I opens a bottle of the west wind as we currently had no fresh air.

As the last of the water escaped I placed my Spell jammer seat right in the captain's chair which began to shift and change it shifted to a deep black with ruby red highlights and gave off a deep red off the bottom as it hovered.

Sitting in it I felt my mind connected to every part of the ship each bolt and every scratch as if I had become a part of it.

I then willed to move, I felt it try and fire its long-dead coal engines and I shifted my focus to the engine room most of it long eaten away by the sea. With them down I had one of the mages repeatedly cast shape water to slowly so very slowly move us to shallower water to make future work easier.
