This chapter is those who are interested in how the system works in the series.
Concerning Stats:
-Maximum limit for each stat is 30. It's more difficult to level up with each level after some thresholds.
-To increase 1 to 10, it takes only 1 stat point for each level.
10 to 20, it takes 2 stat points for each level.
20 to 25, it takes 3 stat points for each level.
25 to 30, it takes 4 stat points for each level.
So it takes 64 points to max out.
-To understand what levels mean more easily I will leave some examples here.
Students have normally Level 1-5 Body, 1-10 Magic, 1-10 Mind stat levels. They gain points naturally by development of their body.
After graduation or simply normal witch and wizards to say have normally 5-10 Body, 10-15 Magic, 10-15 Mind stat levels.
Professors have normally Level 10-15 Body, 15-20 Magic, 15-20 Mind stat levels.
I must say points are not absolute for each profession or so, since normally they increase naturally with being pure-blood or accumulation of knowledge. And higher the stat, higher the difference in power between levels.
I will not say stats for each professor/students/even Dumbledore, this page is merely to help you understand approximate level of our MC.
Concerning Talents:
-Maximum limit for a talent is 10. As I have mentioned in the novel, it's more difficult to level up with each level after some thresholds.
-To increase 0 to 2, it takes 1 talent point for each level.
2 to 4, it takes 2 talent points for each level.
4 to 6, it takes 3 talent points for each level.
6 to 8, it takes 4 talent points for each level.
8 to 10, it takes 5 talent points for each level.
So it takes 30 talent points to max out.
-Level of the talents are important because of their own characteristics such as divination, gaining experience points more quickly and simply having more innovating ideas on the subject.
-With each level, experience gain increases. And it is 2 to the power of level of the talent.
It means 0 Talent: 1 experience gain with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
1 Talent: 2 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
2 Talent: 4 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
3 Talent: 8 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
4 Talent: 16 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
5 Talent: 32 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
6 Talent: 64 experience gains with each successful cast of spell/brewing of a potion/craft of something.
…
Concerning Skills:
-Maximum limit for a skill is 6.
Level 0 to 1: 100 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 1.
Level 1 to 2: 1000 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 3.
Level 2 to 3: 10.000 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 5.
Level 3 to 4: 100.000 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 7.
Level 4 to 5: 1.000.000 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 9.
Level 5 to 6: 10.000.000 experience is needed. Required Talent Level is 10.
-Power of a spell depends on Magic or Mind stat and level of it means mastery of that spell.
-I will refrain from saying the level of each spell but I can give an example. For example there are mastery levels for Patronus Charm, such as Silent Cast/Non-Corporal Form/Corporal Form/Using it for communication/Even a possible Wandless Cast of it.
