June Verrier was only a B-list actor shortchanged by his agency. He was only supposed to be a person rebelling against his old boss. How did he end up entangled in the affairs of the demons? No matter. Whatever came his way—be it a goon, an arrogant director, or a demon overlord—was dealt with precision. What was there to fear when he had become a devil’s darling?

When June raced to leave the receptionist's desk, he felt Lantis transport him to the vicinity of the school where he just dropped off Ares. However, the whole place was in chaos as a huge fire was eating the school. The fire department had already arrived to extinguish the flames, but June sent the imps to look for Ares in the crowd.

"June." Lantis flashed out of sight, and June was pulled in a direction. He quickly spotted an escaping vehicle in the distance. In a second, he burst into a sprint and ran after the car that was supposed to be at its fastest speed. However, a human was gaining in on it.

"What is happening?! Drive faster!" A female's voice echoed from the car as they saw how June suddenly showed out of nowhere. He was even like a cheetah catching up with them.
