I Know My Demons (1)

When he heard that Melissa suddenly vanished from her apartment before their marathon guesting in the early hours of the day, he didn't expect her to run into something so scary. If it was another version of Alexander Reed or just him from a year ago, he would have scoffed at the woman. It's just that… he had seen so much that he considered the skeptic him dead.

Too much happened to him that science and logic could not explain. Moreover, there was this strange feeling that was making him avoid Jonathan Stallis more and more. If the boss didn't promise more projects for Alexander, the actor wouldn't have shown up at the auction.

"Okay… is it just haunting you, or is it June?" Alexander clenched his teeth at the possibility. He knew that June was becoming way less of a human these days, and that stunt June pulled on the auction was proof of that. There was no way that it wasn't June. No one could do strange things other than that man.
