Today was the day.
I could’ve vibrated into another realm; I was so excited. My wedding day. The day that I never thought would actually happen, but there I was, getting my hair and makeup done. Jessica was always ready to dive into my hair at a moment’s notice and she did not disappoint.
Rowan was adamant that we didn’t see each other at all today, or even last night. We had already broken so many traditions that I thought it was a little silly, but it was his wedding too. Jessica even took my phone from me so I couldn’t text him. But that just made me even more excited to see him.
I glanced at the reflection behind me to see Eva, in her gorgeous, red velvet, gothic gown, rocking Oriana to sleep. No one could make red velvet look as good as Eva did. She insisted on babysitting today and it warmed my heart to see that Oriana was so loved by her Nona.
