When I wake up on Monday morning, I’m still annoyed by what happened with River and Giselle five days earlier. The conversation and look on his voice as he let Giselle continue to treat me like she did have been playing on my mind ever since.


I’ve taken it upon myself to avoid him since then because I don’t want to speak to him right now. I don’t typically see him anywhere other than the kitchen, so I’ve been trying to avoid going in there late at night in case I run into him. 


It’s been five days and River has yet to apologize for what happened. Even if he does care enough to stop by my room and utter a simple ‘I’m sorry’, I’m not sure if I would accept it. He hurt me by allowing Giselle to berate me like that after having just said that we’re friends.
