Chapter 100

"Kids are disgusting creatures."

Rubber-gloved hands on her hips, Maddie Freemont glanced at the rows of urinals in one of two boys' bathrooms inside the elementary school and shook her head. It didn't matter how often she cleaned and disinfected, it chronically smelled like urine. Could be because the hit or miss phrase tended to miss more than hit.

She'd attempted once before to get the principal to order air freshener that scented every time someone flushed, but the woman wouldn't allow it. According to her, if Maddie was doing her job correctly, then air freshener wouldn't be needed.

Whatever. She sprayed cleaner over the tile and urinals. While that sat for a minute and soaked in, she moved into the stalls and dumped toilet bowl solution into the tanks. And, lovely. The last stall had a present just for her.
