Chapter 7 - Steamy Orientation

"You don't need to do such tricks if you need something from me. I'm sure those bitches will target me more."

"As if I want to do this. Today is your orientation, and my Mom requested me to pick you up from school; if you're embarrassed by what happened, then I'm more."

"You could have messaged me or informed me when you called last night."

"I really despise your courage to argue with the CEO," he says, his jaw clenched.

I opted not to respond since I understood he had a point. I'm only an employee, and he's the CEO, therefore I should do what needed to be done. Silence has descended inside the car, and I'm focusing my gaze outdoors rather than on him. No, not over my dead body, I'm not going to look at him again and make myself appear like a fool. It didn't take long for us to reach their company, and to my chagrin, I'm still greeted with the same look they gave me the last time. The receptionist is staring at me, and everyone else is definitely judging me for being with their boss.

Huh! You'll see me very often.

"Mom is in my office. She'll be the one to orient you, because this is her idea," he says, and I ignore him once more. When the elevator was about to close, a tall man in a tuxedo immediately placed his elbows in between of the closing door. He was holding a large stack of folders that nearly completely obscured his face, but I could still see his dark eyes.

His eyes was pulled to us, and to my astonishment, he bowed his head and adjusted his glasses. He looks much gorgeous with those glasses on. "Sorry, Sir," he replied softly before pressing the number for our floor.

I wasn't expecting him to be one of the employees here. His appearance may pass as one of the bosses.

"You're drooling." My hand instinctively reached for the side of my mouth to see if I was drooling, and I immediately sneered at him when I wasn't. I return my attention to the hot guy next to me. Come on, how could God bestow upon him so much manliness as well as the most glowing skin a lady could wished?

"Ouch!"

"Oh, Miss. I didn't see your arm," he apologized, his eyes worried and perplexed as to how he might help me while carrying those papers. Until he dropped it and casually took my arm. He accidentally bumped the edge of the box on my arm, but I'm not hurt, just surprised.

My face turned bright red when he blew some air on my arm and softly touched it. "Hey," I said out in a small voice. "I'm fine, no need to worry." I can see he's not believing what I'm saying and was about to say anything more when the elevator door opened.

"Ahm, I'm already in our floor; sorry again, Miss." His stare did not leave mine, and I lacked the courage to shift my look away from him. He smiled politely before the elevator closed.

I guess there's something, no, someone here that I'll fall in love with.

I can't help giggling till we get to the top floor. Speaking of which, I nearly forgot I was with the CEO right now. When no one followed me out of the elevator, I looked back and just saw him tightening his jaw while staring at me darkly. What is his issue this time? I remained silent during our ride, and he still has reason to be upset? Unbelievable.

"Do I have to stay here, Sir?"

"Inside my office," he replied shortly. I'll walk after him while he walks first. I thought he'd already opened his office door, but he looked back with the same grim gaze, and I almost fell out of balance. "Next time, don't flirt around inside my premises."

And he slammed the door in my face, not waiting for my reaction or inviting me in. I can't help but grimace as I walk into his office. He's truly something; he's arrogant and annoying. My scowl was still on my face when I recognized a familiar figure reclining on the couch. Our gazes locked, and recognition flashed across her face.

She's not lying, eh?

"Ija," she said joyfully as she kissed my cheeks. I simply check my breath to know whether it smells bad. "I expected you to come to the office as soon as I handed you my card, and I'm disappointed that you're hesitant to apply."

Hesitant to apply? As I glance at Mejico, he doesn't even seem to care. It's true that I didn't contact them right away since I wasn't sure whether the details were right, but I came here last time because I truly wanted to apply. I frowned at him when I learned he made up a story to justify not accepting me that day.

I just forced a smile on Mrs. Vulgari. "I'm still looking through my schedule at that time."

"Aha, I understand; that's why I made sure to give you a weekend job that would definitely fit into your schedule. Don't be bothered, but I got your information from my son and did some background checking. Don't get me wrong, huh? I really want to get to know you more, and I'm amazed that you're such a great student. I'm confident you can be flexible with your work and studies, and you don't need to work in the bakery shop because we'll pay you well."

It was hard to comprehend what she said since I'm shocked that she almost knew my entire background. It's totally creepy. I just hope she didn't probe deeper into my family.

"Hehe,"

Whirring noise can be heard when I let out an awkward chuckle. Geez, Chrizanta, you should have stayed quiet.

Mrs. Vulgari forced a laugh as well and softly nudged me. It wasn't hard, simply like a friend's actions. "Don't be bashful around us; you know I owe you my life."

Eh?

"Are we here to chit-chat, Mom, or do you want to start orienting her?" Mejico emphasizes his words while talking to his mother, but his gaze is fixed on mine.

"You're being disrespectful again, Bunchy-bunch."

My laughter burst as soon as I heard his mother's endearment on him. And, of course, I was met with a lethal gaze.

"Urgh, stop calling me that," he said as he placed his keys into his pocket. "By the way, I have something more important to do; make sure to contact me if anything happe—"

"Hep! Hep! No, you're not going anywhere. I have a dinner appointment, and you're the one who'll orient, Chrizanta. I just dropped by because I really want to see you, sweetheart. Make it smooth. Ciao," she said with a mischievous smile.

I didn't understand what she was saying, so I ignored it and turned to look at my boss. In my mind, I should start calling him boss or Sir. I could have said his name aloud, which is disrespectful for him.

"Not happening," he mumbled.

Okay, he and his mother are both odd.

Mr. Vulgari began to explain my work, which included checking his schedule, handling some paperwork, and accompanying him to meetings on the weekends. He's highly professional when it comes to discussing what I should and should not do at work. Following that, he accompany me to every department and introduce everyone, especially the managers. I noticed the hot guy earlier, and he's the accounting department manager. Mr. Vulgari dragged me away just as I was going to smile at him. He's gripping me tightly, but I'm not saying anything. After visiting every department, he went right and came to a halt in front of a metal door.

"092821. You should memorize the passcode, since some of the papers are here, and you could be the one who gets it."

"Copy, Sir."

He shrugged and enter.

"The files were alphabetically categorized based on what department they came from and also when there are names. They also have color coding, so you won't be confused."

"Copy, Sir."

I heard him groan and saw as he clutch the hem of his shirt. He keeps explaining each locker, and I simply keep agreeing with him. This is far more convenient than arguing with him.

"Can you stop?" I take a step back when he turned to face me. Something is playing in his eyes.

"Huh?"

"Are you trying to follow what my Mom said, Ms. Martin, that's why you keep seducing me with that voice?" he asked hoarsely. "I don't mind contradicting what I said earlier that it won't happen."

Mr. Vulgari got me trapped on one of the lockers, and I'm still puzzled by what he's doing. Shit, Chrizanta! Think clearly. Is this what his mother meant when she said "make it smooth"? I didn't even get her point earlier. Mr. Vulgari moved his lips down my neck, and my thoughts went totally blank.

"Your smells remind me of someone, hmm," his tone has changed, and my legs have weakened. What happened that night flashes back to me, and here I am, ready to be under him without inhibitions. "Do you think we'll be able to share something here?"

"Mejico," I groaned when he suck my neck.

"Moan and groan, baby, they're music to my ears," he said as he claimed my lips.
