"Are you okay, ma'am?" Ariana raised her head from her hands when she heard Shimaya walking into her office.

"Of course, I am, why would you ask that?" She brushed away the few strands of blonde hair from her view as she began to arrange the files on her table.

She had in and out of it after Derek had stopped by and threw her emotions on a trampoline before he left. She could barely even focus on her work anymore, her mind was a whirlwind between Jared, Derek, Paris, and her work.

"No, just, after Mr Lowell left like that, I thought you might be saddened," Shimaya got close to her desk and shrugged.

"What? Are you trying to say I am crying after a love fight?" She turned her sharp gaze to her secretary who blanched slightly from her direct words.
