Defeat

Alexis carrying Anna on her back appear in front of the gates of the Sky Palace. Nightingale runs over.

"Is she okay?" asked Nightingale.

"she just knocked out," said Alexis. John and Cyrus come to them.

"man, that bastard he just hit a kid like that," said Cyrus.

"I can feel Rize up there and he is mad," said John.

In the upper chamber, Rize was going in for another attack and right kicks Ifrit in the face. Ifrit stumbles back when he gets hit by his kick.

"he ignores getting burnt by my flames he rather hit me." thinks Ifrit. Rize then does a spinning heel kick to his head. Ifrit then slams him back and he flies back to the Asmodeus in sword form on the ground and picks it up. Rize then charges at him and unleashed a black energy blast at close range which also destroyed half the room and more light comes into the room. Ifrit then unleashed a flame breath as soon as he can at Rize which destroyed the other half of the room. Rize's shirt was ripped in half and his pants had holes and his boots were burnt off. Ifrit rips the top of his robe off revealing all the scars on his torso.

"not even a dragon has pushed me this far I can tell you are a true warrior even though we don't see eye to eye," said Ifrit.

"I'll admit I never fought this one this strong you might even be more powerful than Azazel and my grandfather and we would be perfect rivals for each other but I can't let your evil ways be unseen," said Rize.

"Indeed, and I can't let you stop me, Son of Azure or Rize Alistair I will show you my full strength," said Ifrit. Ifrit then unleashed his flames but all of a sudden they disappeared. Rize feels his throat get dry his lips to start cracking.

"what going on here?" questioned Rize.

"don't feel the heat it is so hot right now that it drying up the area of moister. Rize starts coughing from a dry throat "damn it." said Rize. "this is a cheap way to win."

"no matter this is a battle to the death," said Ifrit walking closer. Rize was starting to have a heat stroke his vision is getting dizzy from the Ifrit attack. Ifrit then picks him up and Rize tries to fight back but due to his heat stroke, he was getting weaker. Ifrit picks him up by the head again and with his left hand and brings him to the edge of the room where it was exposed he dangles him over the head.

"you lost this one maybe my father will praise you where ever you go," said Ifrit. Ifrit lets go and Rize starts to fall he was too weak to use Azazel's wing.

"I need to get stronger." thinks Rize. The Number Thirteen on his left chest starts to glow.

At the Sky Palace Gate Medrinia, the group leaves the palace, and all the dragons cheer for her till they see Rize falling above.

"no," said Magnum but then he sees his number glowing as well Mugetsu's number.

"what going on?" questioned Mugetsu.
