Farewell

Stacy met Xander in the living room after talking to the man she made friends with during her stay with her family. Xander was busy with his laptop and when he sighted her, he gave her that look of pain. He stared at her for a while and then Stacy went to sit next to him.

"Why staring that way? Am I too beautiful?"

Xander nodded, and she placed her hand on his shoulder like she used to. "What are you doing then?"

"Just checking something," he told her.

Then, it went silent, Stacy was quietly looking at how he played a game and when he lost she slapped his arm. "Loser!"

Xander frowned. "You can't even play the game, you won't reach the level I reached," he told her.

Stacy laughed. "Oh my! You think I'm a loser like you?" She motioned for him to shift so she could play, and then Xander moved.

Stacy began to play, she fought the other character and then to Xander's shock, she passed the level he reached. He gasped and when she gave him that victory look. His heart began to beat faster.

They were returning to the way they were before she left and he kept staring as if he was thinking of something. Stacy played hard with the game while he looked at her, smiling like a dummy.

"Stop, it's discomforting," she told him and when he looked at the game. She cried out. "Look I won. Whoa! I told you I'm not a loser." Stacy boasted.

Xander smiled. "I'm happy you won" he cupped her cheek. Stacy's brows then arch. "You look gorgeous when you smile," he told her with his gaze on her lips. He aimed to kiss her but her phone rang and when she checked who it was, she stood up and acted as if nothing happened just now. Xander sighed. He really was a loser.

The next day, he invited her to swim with him but she rejected his offer. Stacy spends all the time she had on her phone and sometimes, she gets herself half-naked and video calls that guy. Xander told her that she could go out whenever she wants to as long as she comes back.

Stacy would go out and sometimes would come so late and sometimes she'd return home by midnight drunk and sometimes she doesn't come at all.

Xander once confronted her but she Insulted him saying he was a lonely vampire who doesn't know anything about the world and funs. She didn't want to be like him so he should leave her be.

Then one night, his demon side arose, Xander tried his best to keep calm but failed, he damaged the wall and his room. When Stacy came to him. "He wanted me as his wife, talk more of death. And I'm not ready to die. Yeah, keep spoiling everything, it's your house anyway."

Xander approached her but Stacy ran from him, Xander who was as fast reached her in no time and hugged her from behind. "Stacy" his mind was lost and he was hurting badly. She had gone beyond limits. "I understand that you don't love me but please Stacy don't kill me completely," he told her. But before she could say a word, he wasn't behind her anymore.

"Mr Hall!" Xander cried out his name, entering his house. Mr Hall came to his aid immediately to see his vampire side.

"What happened?" He asked and brought him to sit on his bed.

"She doesn't love me, it's more like she despises me so much" Xander cried his eyes out to his Dad.

Xander curled up on the man's bed, wetting his pillow, "Because I'm a vampire" he said. "I wish I'm not a vampire. I hate myself so much. If I'm not a vampire, I know she'd love me, she'd like me"

Anger consumed him, and he didn't know when he began to hit the wall. "I hate myself, Alexander, I hate you so much!"

Mr Hall could only watch and when the boy fell to his knees he went to hug him. "I know how it feels, just take it in and endure, Xander don't hate yourself because Stacy doesn't love you"

"You really don't know how it pains, I don't know how to express how I feel. It's just too painful" Xander told him. "And she makes it worse with her attitude"

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault, I shouldn't have brought her into your life"

"No, it's her fault, for not loving me because I'm a vampire. I want her out of my life now"

Xander told Mr Hall to send Stacy away, she had done enough and she needed to be free. He was just forcing her to be in his life.

Stacy got the message and packed her bags, she was excited that finally, she was free. It had only been two months and he let her go. Xander didn't return home. He told himself that once she leaves, he'd return.

Stacy got all her belongings and walked out of the building. Where's Xander? She should at least say some things to him before leaving. She looked around and then she felt this feeling. No, she was going back to her family and would be free.

Stacy continued her way out when suddenly, someone hugged her from behind. "Stacy" he whispered.

She stood still as she listened to his words. "Please don't leave me, you were the only friend I had, I was so alone but you changed that. If you leave now I'll be alone again, I won't be able to live please Stacy I'm begging you. Don't leave me" he pleaded. "It's killing if you leave me please, I love you, I love you so much"

Stacy was still but when she thought of her freedom, she pulled his hands off her neck and moved away. "Xander, you were the one that told me to leave because you wanted me to be free and find the money for my treatment"

"I can give you the money"

"I said I don't want any money from you"

Xander hushed. "You are right, I told you to leave, and besides you are not ready to die because I'm not human. Normally, I understand. Farewell then, have a nice life and. . . I'll never forget you" Xander waved at Stacy with tears bubbling in his eyes and when she looked at him. His tears fell but he wiped them immediately. "Bye," Xander whispered and vanished from her sight.
