I'm not hungry

Stacy's heart was reacting funnily and when she was about to hold him closer to kiss him back. Xander pulled out as if realizing something. Stacy stared into his eyes and saw that look that alarmed her senses that Xander was raging at her.

Xander walked away to avoid her but she turned around and called him. "Xander"

"I know what you want to say" he paused his steps but didn't turn to her. "That you are back" he assumed. "Why are you here?"

"Xander, I know, I know that I hurt your feelings big time and I'm very sorry."

Xander chuckled deadly and said. "It's a simple question, why are you here?"

Stacy wasn't surprised that Xander was acting cold and dark again. "I want to tell you something that's why"

Without turning, "Sure, I'm all ears"

Stacy was hesitant to speak. "Will you hurry up and say what you wanna say, I can't stand you for too long?" he said.

Stacy looked up at his head as if it was his face. He would stand her if she confess. Xander suddenly felt a tight hold around his belly. "I love you too" Stacy let it out at last.

Xander looked down at her hands curled in front of his belly. He loosened her hand and turned to her. "So?"

Stacy was shocked. "Need I remind you?" He gave her that expressionless look, her words didn't change anything. "I'm a vampire Stacy. I'm not your type" he enunciated it out to her.

"Xander, you said. . .you love me, I know that I didn't. . .Accept you then and I'm sorry. I understand if you are angry. . ." She stopped because she heard him chuckle.

"Angry? Tch! Why will I be angry? Stacy, I do love you but there are limits to things. I've realized that no matter what I do, who I am, how I express my love. You will always hurt me and I'm tired. . ." He told her sternly. "I'm exhausted, frazzled by all the pain in my heart, just as you've pleaded at the bar. I'm letting you go. I also can't accept a human as my mate. So keep your love to yourself, okay?" He had lines on his forehead.

Stacy stared at him, lost by his changes. Had she hurt him this much? He looked broken and not broken. "Xander, but I'm sorry" she hugged him but he pulled her out and pushed her off him. Stacy fell to her knees.

"Stay away from me" he warned her and with that, he left. Stacy looked at the ground, upset and sad. She knew he would be very upset and it wouldn't be easy to forgive her but she could see that he still love her.

Now she knew why she always had the feeling that his anger was something that was very hard to erase. She did pass the line, she called his love ridiculous. She let her head fall on her opened palm and sigh that heavy sigh.

She recalled his word after she confessed. "So?" It sounded like he had lost hope in her already. But that didn't stop her from chasing him, she did it once, she'd do so again. She'd do everything to get him back!

That noon, Xander came home to meet her in the living room staring at the paintings on the wall. He painted that when he misses her so much and wished she was with him. So, he drew down his imagination. But now, he regretted doing that.

So, she has returned to live with him. She hurt him for two months and now it's time she faces the same. He walked past her and left for his room. Already dinner, Xander went down to eat something but when he sighted Stacy. He turned about, seems he'd starve that night but before he could progress. "Xander!" She cried out

Xander groaned, "I'm not hungry" he turned to meet her kiddish gaze. "What part of I'm not hungry do you understand? And why are you still here?" He threw her that gaze of no remorse.

Stacy's ecstatic expression washed off her face. "I just came back to the one I love," she told him.

Xander only stared at her in thoughts with creased eyebrows and then he looked away and scratched his temple, if only she told him this when he confessed how he felt. If only she didn't go with the other guy. If only she didn't hurt his feelings, he'd run to her and kiss her lips.

He missed her like crazy but trusting her again would hurt him again, the pain was unbearable, he didn't know how he was still alive and standing.

He then flashed her that fake smile. "Feel at home, don't forget that I'm a vampire and hungry for blood," he told her and when he turned to leave her view, she took his hand but Xander was quick to wave it off.

"I'm not hungry, it's simple" he widened his eyes at her which killed him more, he really wanted to grab her face and kiss her.

"Just have a little" Stacy pleaded but he turned to the stairs and went away. Stacy sighed, he didn't react the way he always does. She missed how he kisses her like it would be the last time he would. "Don't worry, you'll be mine soon. I know you still love me" Stacy said to no one but herself.

The next day, Xander came in with paints and brush and mat and painting equipment.

He did that to paint his house and erase his paintings of Stacy. "Xander don't, those drawing are beautiful" she was standing by the stairs when she told him.

"It would have if it wasn't you"

Stacy just swallowed her pain, the displeased feelings she felt in her mid-section. "You didn't have to say that," she said in a low tone.

Xander threw her that 'i don't care' look and continued with the painting.
