I want you to kiss me

Xander painted the house with his swift abilities and Stacy watched in wonder. She studied him all day and that was the last words she said to him and he to her until the day of her birthday.

Xander left for work before she could wake up and when she did, her leg didn't work. Gosh! When will Xander look at her? Stacy knew that if she asks Xander for the cash, he'd hand it to her in no time but this time that she knew that they are meant, she wanted to be a vampire and be immortal even though she was scared of being that.

Stacy has actually gotten used to not using her organs frequently and sometimes she loses control of herself and begins to shake. Well, everything will change once Xander is less upset. She lay in bed and waited for her brain to remember how to use her leg.

The evening arrived by 7:30 pm. Stacy was in the kitchen, from the kitchen people could see who comes in and go, so Stacy sighted Xander as he walked in gracefully. "Xander!" She ran to him like a little girl to her father. Stacy didn't let him breathe in.

When Xander look her way, sadness clouded her gaze. He didn't smile at her like he used to. Xander attempted to ignore her and go to his room. But. . ."It's my birthday today Xander" Stacy told him and as she expected, he halted. She knew he loves her.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked without turning around. "I'd have gotten something for you since it's your birthday" he turned around slowly and gave her that smile. "Happy birthday!"

Stacy's face lit up and she ran to hug him tight but he didn't hug her. Just this once on her birthday, he'd let her off the hook. He couldn't even stay angry with her for long. And he wasn't upset with her, he was just avoiding getting hurt again. She was like a chameleon. She might change her mind again so it was best to keep his hopes stiffened.

"Wait, let me go change. I'll be back" he pulled her out gently.

Stacy was still enjoying his cologne her nose was inhaling. Making him sweeter and sexier. So, she pulled out too and nodded when she met his gaze.

She pointed to the kitchen. "I'll be waiting"

Xander left her sight and she went to sit on a stool waiting for him. Xander appeared with a wine in his hand. The wine was a little alcoholic but too much might get someone drunk. He dropped it on the counter with chairs surrounding it and then he wore an apron.

"What are you doing?" She turned to him.

"Cooking for you. . .Us" he told her.

"Okey-dokey" she replied and they both exchanged glances.

Stacy watched him and soon began to perceive the aroma. Her stomach made sounds, causing him to look her way. "Don't tell me you didn't eat a thing today"

"No, my hands kept breaking things" she replied sadly.

"So, you haven't done the surgery yet Stacy"

Stacy shook her head and he did too in disappointment. "I wasn't able to raise the money"

"So, you came back to get me to give the money because you know I wouldn't want to give it because I'm hurt and upset?"

Stacy frowned. "No, I came back because I love you"

Xander sighed. "How I wish that was true." He sighed again. "Let's not talk about that. I can give you the money for the surgery" he concluded.

"I want to be your mate instead" Stacy alarmed him.

To her surprise, he laughed. "You aren't thinking straight, I think that your sickness had caused you to make such a decision" he mocked her.

Stacy just kept silent and continued to watch him. Eventually, he finished cooking and as he served them on the table, she stood up to get glass cups but just when he was about to pass, she let the glass fall and break on his leg.

Xander groaned and glared at her. "Don't. . ." He wanted to scold her but hushed after realizing it was her birthday and she looked scared that she immediately bent and began to remove the glasses on his foot and then she pulled out the last one before cleaning up the fall.

Xander sighed. What was he going to do with her? She was becoming clumsy day by day and now, she can't even hold something for more than a minute.

Afterwards, his injuries healed and then eventually they started to have dinner. Stacy found it very hard to take her spoon to her mouth and then she started to cry. Xander stared at her in wonder. "What's so bad in asking for help?" He asked.

"You'll scold me if I do" she cried like a baby.

Xander rolled his eyes and sat by her side, he was opposite her before. "Aaah" he gestured for her to open her mouth and she sniffled her tears and wiped her nose before accepting the food. He continued that way and then poured her a glass of wine.

"So, what do you want as a present?" He asked her. Stacy chewed faster and swallowed.

"Kiss" she replied. "I want you to kiss me," she said.
