Feels like home

I was so scared of the alpha but he ended up not doing anything to me. Even though he scolded me, he didn't get me turtored. To me he seems nice.

"You are falling for him" Storm told me.

I shook my head not agreeing with her.

"You are the one falling not me" I said in my head.

I lost my appetite since the alpha left. There's no one to look at. I'm a very large eater and I love to eat. Damion and Alec do make fun of me for being a foodie and I don't usually care. But now, I don't seem to be hungry anymore, even as delicious as the food is.

"I'll be in my room" I told Bella.

She looked at me with the eyes of is everything alright? I nodded at her and I stood up but I as stand, she took my hand and smiled at me. I didn't know why she was acting as if something bad has happened to me.

"Will you accompany me to the pack's kitchen?" She asked me.

This got me confused. I'm not a free person here and she's treating me as if I'm a guest. These people here don't seem to amaze me. They are so unpredictable.

(Unknown to Jessy, it was Mitchell that mind linked Bella not to let Jessy go to her room being that, the alpha wants to hold meeting in his room and it's just next door to Jessy's. This Bella caught quickly.)

"I'll make you delicious dumplings. I'm sure it will boost your appetite" she said with a smile.

I was so touched at how considerate she is, not minding that I'm an enemy or a prisoner amist them. She noticed that I didn't eat well. She could read me well. I smiled at her and nodded.

She left the men and took my hand as we went to the kitchen. As we went I was just imagining how nice the kitchen will look been that those dishes came out of it. Well I wasn't in anyway disappointed. I would have been wowed if I hadn't thought of it. It was so large, beautiful and clean.i wondered if the maids that's don't step out. Their shoes were so clean. I mean sparkling clean. This made this pack more interesting. The little I see, the more I want to see. I want to see how they run their things, the way they live. I just want to know more about them.

"Have you forgotten they are your enemies?" Storm said to me.

" As if they ain't yours" I hissed at her

2hat she said destroyed my happy mood. I then begin to think about home and how everyone is faring. This pack I'm happy about has caused me so much pain, yet I'm still here fantasizing about it. I'm orphaned now and it's all their fault, especially their alpha's. Yes their alpha. His handsome face popped into my head, melting my pain and I couldn't help but to smile. Yes I'm an idiot but I couldn't help it.

"Are you alright?" Bella asked me.

I looked at her and around. I saw that the maids were looking at me. I sure know that I would have been switching expressions like someone in a dilemma for Bella to have asked me such question.

"Yes I'm fine. Just thinking about home" I replied giving her a stiff smile.

" Come let's talk while I make dumplings" she said.

She pulled me to a corner where no one touched but it was clean.

"Who uses this place?" I asked.

Although it wasn't separated but it sure was differently arranged.

"The alpha" she replied.

"He cooks" I said with shock.

How on earth is this man making me fall for him the more? I start to imagine him in an apron cooking me meals.

"Yes occasionally" Bella replied.

"Wow!" I said. " But won't he be angry that you are using his space?" I asked.

Bella shook her head. " I'm the only one allowed to use it" she said with a smile.

" I'm beginning to wonder if you are the alpha's mate or your husband. He seems to care about you" I said casually.

Bella shook her head.

"He cares about my husband and that make him care about me. But the truth, he cares about Mitchell not me. Mitchell can't cook so he make me use it so I could cook for him" she explained.

Now I get the whole thing there. I want to know the story between those two but I know it's not for today.

"So let's talk about you" she said as she made her dumplings.

I didn't expect her to ask about me but I was glad she did. I need someone to talk to in this situation of mine. Bella seem to be friendly, although I know what I'm going to tell her. We chatted as she cooked and I even laughed at things she said. Not that I forgot what my brother told me to do but it will take process and this is one of the process. Getting on Bella's good side.

As we spoke the white witch called Zin came in. At first she didn't see us but the smell of what Bella was making drew her attention and she looked at our side. This got her frowning and she quickly masked it with a casual look.

"Ma'am" she bowed.

"Hi Zin" Bella said.

It is known that that sign of reverence is all fake. She still hold a grudge especially to me and I myself don't like her.

"I don't like that lady" I told Bella.

Bella snorted at my words smiling at me.

"Zin is harmless. She just love to be bossy" she said.

I don't believe her. I looked at Zin who placed herself at the far end of the kitchen looking at us. She was pretending to be doing something.

"Bella can I ask you a question?" I asked.

Bella's dumplings was ready and she was already dishing it. Bella then nodded.

"I noticed something or let me say it's an hunch. What's the relationship between that lady and the alpha?"

Bella looked at me surprised.

" What? I'm a quick witted one" I said with pride.

Bella smiled at me. She poured for the two of us two mug of fresh milk and made the maids to carry them to a corner. I noticed that the scene there was quite nice.

"You didn't answer me" I pestered when the maids left.

Bella handed me a dumpling. I took a bite and acknowledge that it was delicious.

"Let's just say she's for the alpha" she replied.

I almost choked on what I was eating. I widen my look at her. I didn't want to assume anything because what my mind was telling me seem unbelievable.

"Did you just insinuate that she's the alpha's woman?" I asked with a disgusted look.

Bella looked at me and smiled.

"Ew" now my disgust grew.

Bella laughed at me.

"C'mon she's not that bad" she said smiling.

I still find it hard to believe that she was saying the truth.

"Are you trying to tease me because I'm being pestering?" I asked her to be sure.

Bella shook her head.

"I can't believe my ears. How will your alpha stoop so low for that ugly thing" I asked with a nauseated look.

" No that's not true. Zin is a beautiful woman" she corrected me.

" Yes if only her nose isn't as large as the size of a cooking spoon" I added.

Bella burst into laughter. " You are funny".

"No wonder she's carrying herself and acting like the Queen of England" I said in mockery.

Well I won't lie, I envy her and I know most ladies in the pack will too.

"C'mon Jessy, Zin is friendly too" Bella said smiling.

" That's an obvious lie" I said looking at Zin's direction.

God knows what she's telling the poor maid standing in front of her. It was obvious it wasn't nice words.

"Let's forget about Zin" Bella said.

"And move to your alpha" I said unconsciously.

Bella looked at me with disdain.

"Are you falling for my alpha?"

To me there's no point lying since I don't have a mate to fear neither am I in my land that rumours will be spread.

"Who wouldn't? He so handsome" I said dreamingly.

Bella burst into laughter.

"You don't cease to amaze me girl. I've you forgotten who we are talking about? He's a handsome deadly man" she said.

I frowned. " Of course not" I then smiled again. " There's no harm done in admiring a very handsome man even if he's as deadly as the devil and also an enemy. I know good stuff and I don't mind checking it out" I said winking at her.

" Ah" Bella opened her mouth. Then she burst into laughter. "You can't be kidding me" she said.

I smiled. "I'm not. I don't love to loose oppurtunities for a nice time" I added.

With the way I'm talking, I sure know that Bella would have think me to be a bad girl but the truth is that I don't even have time to be bad. My dad wouldn't let me out expect I'm on an assignment. The rest, I'm restricted to stay inside. I only get my naughtiness from reading so much romantic books which they don't even know I own. I decided to continue being naughty with Bella. She's married so it's no big deal to her.

"Or don't you think your alpha might be more stronger down there?"

" That I don't know" she said grinning.

"Well I don't mind to go check him out and then come give you feedback" I said.

I know I'm being so naughty and I like it. I want to forget all my troubles and enjoy today. Today seem to be my lucky day. I visited the garden, te with the alpha and I'm here in the kitchen with the mate of the second in command chatting. I'll enjoy it while it last. There might not be another day like this.

"You are such a naughty one" she told me.

I put a dumpling in my mouth and moaned at it sweetness.

"If your alpha is as sweet as this dumplings, I wouldn't mind coming here for vacations" I teased her.

This time Bella burst into laughter and she did it so well that she held her stomach.

"You ain't gonna kill me with your naughtiness Jessy" she said amist laughter.

" I love being naughty" I laughed with her.

" There won't be any dull moments between you and your friends" she said taking a sip from her milk.

" I don't have friends" I said blankly.

This got Bella to stop smiling.

"You don't?" She asked surprised.

"Yes".

" Why?"

" Friends are snitches".

What I couldn't tell her is that it was my father that forbade me to mingle with anyone, especially females of my age. He would scold me for days if he sees me getting so friendly with anyone. He would tell me that friends will ruin my life as a secret warrior he trained me to be. Everyone one who sees me outside will think I have a perfect life as the alpha's only female. None knew what I was going through except my brother.

It would be a lie if I say I don't mind not talking to anyone. Ofcourse I do. I've got no mother to share my thoughts with. That's why I'm glad that Bella's friendly and I can talk to her even if it's just to liven my mood.

"Not all" she disagreed.

"True but I trust no one" I said with pride.

Bella cocked a mocking brow at me. " Why then are you talking with me?"

"Well, you seem friendly and moreover it's not like our pack and your pack are friends that you will go tell anyone in my pack that I'm being naughty. So I'm free" I said smiling confidently.

Bella shook her head at me.

I put another dumpling in my mouth.

"Seriously, this is so good" I said.

"Like my alpha right?" She joked.

"You just got the gist mi'lady" I said with a bow and we both laughed.

Not to lie, if things keep on going like today, this place will definitely feel like home to me.
