Plain Anticlimax

To cut it short, Nate had turned the situation around.

No longer was he bound and silenced. No longer was he became the target of Randy's knuckles and a gun pressed to his forehead.

He was finally free.

Now, if he could release her too from the ropes tying her to the chair, it would be dandy.

But no. Of course, not. Only minutes ago, the mafia lord actually told her that he liked seeing her bound.

'What a prick,' Keira thought to herself, glaring at said mafia lord who was now standing tall before the once again sprawled biker gang members.

As if feeling her heated glare she directed at the back of his head, Nate turned around. Unaffected by her narrowed eyes and scowling face, the tall, dark, and  handsome personification spread his arms wide, grinning back at her.

"What do you think? People told me I fight like Jackie Chan," he told her, overly proud.
