The Future Lady Boss

Keira left Nate's penthouse with an unreadable expression on her face. Keith, the incompetent driver Nate had tasked with escorting her back home, was looking with a frown from the rearview mirror.

"Pardon me for saying this, Miss Hawkins," he politely started, "But you don't look too happy."

"Huh?"

Did she really not look too happy?

Keira turned her head to the side, catching her reflection on the darkened window. There was no smile on her face, but no frown either. She looked like when she counted cards to play poker in Casey Neumann's game.

No emotion she could discern.

However, there was no mistaking the heavy thumping of her erratic heart. Carried away by the quick flow of her blood. There was a slight flush on her cheeks, not really noticeable from Keith's eyes, but she could feel the heat.

He was right, though – she didn't look too happy.

So what?

She did not particularly know what to say either. Should she be happy?
