{Inside Troupe Hideout}

"It seems most everything went according to plan…" peering at the new arrivals inside the room was Kortopi, who took the initiative to get up to greet them. Quietly walking over to the doorway he peered up toward the familiar figures of his fellow troupe members. However, he didn't greet them but instead turned to face the central figure, his leader.

"Yes it did, though I ran into a bit of trouble partway through the operation though my suspicions were confirmed about the Nostrade heiress…" musing to himself as he walked passed the smaller troupe member, Chrollo began to readjust his clothes as he took off the headband and took off his suit jacket as he made his way toward his elevated platform as he set down his belongings before sitting down. Meanwhile, the rest of the members began to stir as they waited in silence to hear about the happenings of the night.

"How fascinating… hmmm. Oh, I forgot to ask how did things go on your half?" Although Korptopi was an exception, he continued to stand near the doorway speaking to doppelgangers of his allies. Interrogating them over the events of the night himself than waiting for his leader to brief him. And as each clone finished their stories he would reach out with his palm and touch their bodies before they soon disintegrated into piles of dust a moment later. Soon only one clone was left, his own, and instead of conversing with it like the others the clone walked towards him and walked into him, causing the two bodies to merge into one whole.

This not-so-unfamiliar sensation washed over him, and Kortopi felt the presence of numerous items created by his clones shared Hatsu appear in addition to a slightly dull headache as the memories of his clone's actions flooded his mind. This was a special ability reserved only for clones of the user, normally clones created by him would require the Nen of the copied person to use their Hatsu and would be lacking multiple aspects of the real deal on top of not being able to last long or transmit any information upon death. Something that his own clones had no trouble doing, though the conditions to do so was quite steep.

"We have successfully taken all of the items from the Yorknew auction, though I find that to hardly be that important anymore… We have lost two of our members and I nearly lost mine as well, yet, I think the wonderful scene we created should be enough to calm them on their way to the next journey." Now with his iconic jacket on and his hair slicked back, Chrollo felt much more comfortable. Clothes make the man, and at times they can feel like an extension of one's self. Addressing his comrades in a sullen yet confident tone, he began to reflect on the happenings of the time spent in the city.

"Did we? I find it debatable that those two would be happy with a bit of chaos caused by clones of all things." speaking his mind as always in a somewhat crass manner was phanks, who questioned his leader with an accusing glare, apparently unhappy with a mere body double being sent out into the streets.

"I believe it wise to maintain our ranks, we have angered many strong and well-connected individuals at once apparently. I had a run-in with the Zoldycks before collecting all the auction goods and returning you know. Not only that but the chain user and the man in pink seem to be an allied front against us and either strong or crafty enough to kill two of our members. Though if you don't believe it wise we can use my new Hatsu… it is most fascinating and I wouldn't mind using it more. It is true prophetic powers or fortune telling I suppose. We can have everyone's fortune told, and see if it is a good idea to press further with this. " Pulling out a small handbook or journal Chrollo stared back at his followers, not exactly contesting their complaints nor particularly insulted.

"Ah, but someone went out earlier? I think…um, Machi?" Speaking up was a young bespectacled woman in a black sweater, though it didn't seem like she was mentally there…

"Very well, though I am a bit curious about what she is doing"

{Next morning (Magenta P.o.V) }

Getting dressed for the morning was a bit off-putting, for the longest while I had been used to wearing the same style of clothes like some sort of uniform. Even in my past life I generally wore the same few shirts, jeans, and jackets for nearly everything. Though I had to send in my clothes to get repaired and was now dressed up in a plain white tee and black dress pants. Though the worst thing was my hat… or the temporary replacement I was wearing, it was a black newsboy cap that struggled to contain my messy and wavy hair.

Well, I was more excited to get my hand back than anything, and dressing up less conspicuously is standard in these sorts of meetings. Though I wonder who it is Kurapika is hooking me up with here, probably a connection he made through the jobs he has been taking. If I recall the Nostrades collect a lot of biological/organic items so it would make sense they also have doctors or Nen healer contacts.

"Alright, I am heading out right now. Make sure to say hello to Kurapika for me." walking out of the hotel room I made my way to the street to hail a cab. On the way I thought about the texts Kurapika sent me, he was originally going to tell me about the healer in person today but he called his contact to ask about the healer last night and apparently they will be findable at some hole in the wall place in town.

'Though the rates suck… all of my money I made alongside claire down the drain' tightening my grip on the small briefcase containing my wrapped-up hand that completed my "disguise" as a usual city goer if said person time traveled to the present from like 10-20 years ago…
