The Mother-In-Law

I sighed, then turned my head back to Aurora. As soon as my hand touched her belly, she sighed with relief and relaxed. Her tired body fell back to the bed, and she looked at me with tears in her deep blue eyes.

"I woke up from the pain. It felt like the baby was punching me from inside, and it seems to broke my rib. It felt like hell," she put her head on my shoulder, and I pressed her to myself tighter.

"Maybe the baby is hungry, and it was the only way to say that?" Raphael supposed, then came closer to us with Rick. They both sat on the edge of the bed, looking at us, "And for how long were you supposed to hide that?"

"Until her belly would be too big to hide," I answered, then sat near her, and she laid on my knees. I started stroking her head and hair, helping her to relax and fell asleep.

"Have you already figured out which blood the baby prefers?" Rick asked, then moved his red eyes from Aurora's belly to me.
