Dalet

Tony still had a dumbfounded expression on his face. The girl's attire was unintentionally similar to something from that island nation's cosplay culture.

Although he liked beautiful women, he also appreciated their facial features and demeanour. Regarding clothing, Tony's interest wasn't very significant.

However, the attire the girl was wearing, that Lolita style... it did conflict quite a bit with his preferences for beautiful women.

But... Tony still wanted to say in his heart... "Lascivious atmosphere."

He preferred the type with prominent fronts, well-shaped rears, enormous bosoms, and ample bottoms.

He glanced again... seemingly this aspect was fully compatible with her, and that contradictory atmosphere to Lolita...

She was underage!

Tony hastily shook his head, only to have an intimate encounter with the helmet.

But... what was she trying to do?

Tony squinted, looking through the tiny gaps towards Kurumi. The firearm gradually materialised from thin air, held in the girl's hand.

The milky-white wrist wrapped in clothing seemed slightly heavy, and Tony knew that thing wasn't lightweight.

A vintage design, no, it was an old-fashioned flintlock pistol. This type of firearm, if one were to consider when it was phased out, could it be counted in centuries.

"Damn it, what are you up to!" Tony panicked.

The girl slightly lifted her petite head, and her black ponytail lightly swung over her shoulder. Black and white intertwined. In normal circumstances, Tony would undoubtedly make some lascivious remarks about this. But now... it clearly wasn't the time.

The tilting head successfully captured Tony's attention. Her wine-red pupils were beautiful, and he had praised them the first time he saw them.

But the implication within... was akin to how one would look at an idiot.

No one understood better than Tony! When he looked at his own little dolt, it was with that same gaze!

Her cherry blossom lips parted slightly, "As you can see, I'm saving him."

"Huh?" Under the helmet, Tony's face exhibited various changes, "Miss, now is not the time for jokes. Even if what you're doing isn't within the realm of science, at least act like a church priest..."

"The holy light a priest releases in fantasy?" Kurumi countered.

"You could see it that way."

Kurumi rolled her eyes, "Perhaps you can find a group of wizards to address this issue."

Tony was taken aback, his worldview collapsing.

"You... you're not a wizard? Um~ This outfit of yours, it's similar to succubi or witches, right? Though I don't really understand these things."

"Ka~"

Kurumi gripped the flintlock pistol, her arm drooping at her side, "Mr. Stark, if you don't want me to save Ethan, please don't waste my time."

"Alright, alright, alright." Tony raised the two arms of the Iron Man armor, "I get it, I get it, please continue."

As if afraid that Kurumi would get angry and leave, Tony repeatedly gestured with his hands. But making such gestures while in the Iron Man armor...

Haha.

The wine-red pupils glanced at Stark again. When Kurumi watched movies on Earth, she did like Robert's portrayal of Tony Stark.

But... if she encountered someone like him in real life, she would definitely want to beat him up!

Just like now.

"Stop!"

A loud shout, and the "hour hand" in Kurumi's hand almost slipped from her grip.

She took a deep breath, radiantly smiling, "Mr. Stark, do you have any more 'questions'?"

"Um..." Tony quickly caught the odd tone in her speech. Who else dared to talk to him like this elsewhere? But now, he needed her help...

And she was a beautiful woman...

"Miss, in a situation like this, wouldn't a normal person generally raise questions?"

"I'm curious... What are you planning to do with that gun pointed at Ethan? Do you intend to add another round of ammunition to his corpse? I don't mean to criticise, but even if you maintain that old flintlock pistol perfectly, there's still a risk of bursting."

"Ka~"

"Mr. Stark..."

"Would you like to try it first?"

"No, no, no, Miss. Please go ahead."

Tony didn't think that ridiculous old flintlock pistol could pierce his armour, but the instant the muzzle aimed at him... he felt like he was drowning and about to die...

"Dalet."

"Dalet?" Tony repeated softly, following Kanzaki Sae's lead, but she didn't pay attention to his interest.

"Boom~~~"

The Iron Man armor took a step backwards. Since installing the small energy source on his chest, Tony's ability to sense danger had significantly increased.

His eyes widened! If it weren't for his arm's limited mobility, he would have definitely removed his helmet!

There were faint ripples in the void, and a massive golden clock appeared behind the girl. Only the upper half of the clock was revealed, yet it ignited a strong urge in Tony to turn and run!

His view wasn't apparent through the mask, but he could make out the general direction. On the clock face, the hour hand pointed to IV. Then, it seemed like a black mist surged from it and entered the old flintlock pistol the girl held.

"Boom!"

Before Tony could react, the slender index finger pulled the trigger!

It might have been a bullet, anyway, Tony didn't see clearly, and he didn't see the blood spray he had anticipated on Ethan's body.

"Did it... miss?"

Tony turned his head, addressing the girl. However, the girl's clothing had transformed into a black dress style, even the golden eye that greatly increased her long hair now concealed her charm.

"Remember the promise you made me."

"What? Ethan is still..."

Tony followed her gaze and thought he had already been shocked numb, but what was happening to Ethan... his heart clenched, fearing that the fragments might fly into his heart...

The wet clothes slowly dried, or rather, the bloodstains disappeared.

Even the dust on Ethan was slowly retreating, damaged glasses and shattered fragments restored.

In Tony's gaze, Ethan held his forehead with his hand as if experiencing a nightmare, not yet awakened.

Time... was being reversed.

"Perhaps science can achieve this too." Tony let his imagination run wild, "But it takes time."

Seeing Kurumi about to leave, Tony shouted, "Miss, how can I contact you in the future?"

"Have we met before?" Kanzaki Sae smiled, "I'm just General Brooks' descendant. I don't have any other identity."

"But, that time..."

"Hush~" Her slender, milky-white index finger pressed against her cherry lips, "Don't you want to revert back to being a baby and start life all over again?"

With his advanced brain, Tony instantly understood her implication and quickly said, "No, no, no..."

"That's good. Goodbye, Mr. Stark."

In her light, lifting dress, Kurumi faded away as if entering the void, disappearing from view.

Murmuring within the Iron Man armor, Tony said, "Should I study magic in the future? What if I combine science and magic? Is that stuff really about time reversal?"

For a while, Tony was lost in thought...

"Um~ where am I?" Ethan rubbed his head and staggered to his feet.

"Tony? What are you doing here?"

The Iron Man armour turned to look at Ethan. In the darkness, a pair of eyes shone with brilliance, thoroughly examining Ethan from head to toe.
