Tony's Confidence

"What is this monster?" The new agent next to Coulson couldn't help but exclaim.

Coulson, on the other hand, furrowed his brow and quickly took several photos with his phone.

Potts was highly nervous; she wasn't like those agents with exceptional psychological resilience. When she saw the 'nightmare,' she almost fainted.

Coulson looked thoughtfully at the large crater created by Stane from an angle. The entity hadn't fallen directly from a great height but had been struck down from the side by someone!

Who could it be? Was it that mysterious mech?

After taking the photos, Coulson quickly led the team further away. Just from the imposing presence of the opposing mech, it put tremendous pressure on him.

He had already drafted a report in his mind and was preparing to return to headquarters to brief the director.

After all, this was not something he could handle on his own.

Despite the chaos on the streets, with several car accidents already occurring, it didn't deter those daredevils. Some young people nearby started discussing.

"Isn't that black and red mysterious mech the military's latest development?"

The person beside them looked foolish and said without hesitation, "Impossible. If the military developed it, they would have marked it with all sorts of numbers to indicate which team it belongs to."

"Isn't the gold and red one Stark's?"

"Stark?"

"Yeah, Tony Stark! Did he research this himself? I heard he's a genius when it comes to weapons. Is this the start of a new chapter in warfare?"

"Who knows who that big chunk of steel is?"

"I have no idea."

"Hmm..."

The massive black and red mech carried a long spear, and sparks flew as it scraped the ground. Unlike ordinary cold weapons that left white marks on the ground, this spear, while being dragged, actually shattered the ground!

Seeing this, Stane felt a twinge of pain in his lower back. If struck by that, he would probably need to go to the hospital for a cast.

Agents and police began to evacuate the civilians. They didn't understand the danger, but the agents did!

Apart from everything else, just one round from the Gatling gun on the Iron Monger could kill most onlookers if it went off.

It was beyond understanding why these people were willing to risk their lives just to capture a video for the internet.

Tony still maintained his seated position. Although it was embarrassing, he didn't think about it that way.

The black and red-painted mech was approaching head-on, and Tony and Stane would be most impacted.

Could he and Stane be on the same side?

No, no, no, absolutely not! Tony dismissed that thought as soon as it crossed his mind. It's not that he looked down on Stane, but even the Iron Man suit was made from leftover parts. He would have taken Stane down long ago if his arc reactor hadn't been stolen!

When the dust finally settled, Tony saw the black and red-painted mech's appearance.

He calmly swallowed a spit, but his body betrayed him with a shiver.

The aggressive steel bone wings on its back looked abnormally cold. When he noticed the person inside the mech, Tony visibly froze.

What on earth was this? A suit of armour just like his, but with an advanced exoskeleton on the outside?

Regardless, his own life was in someone else's hands now. The energy in his reactor was running dangerously low, only enough to keep 'Mark' moving autonomously.

Tony raised an eyebrow as he looked at the "eyes" in the helmet. What was with the red glow? Infrared detection? Could this be a drone?

"Click... Click..."

As the 'nightmare' passed by him, Tony finally breathed a sigh of relief. The marks left on the ground by the dragged spear made his pupils shrink.

"Did this guy come out of a novel or a comic book? Is this design reasonable?" Tony wondered in his mind, struggling to stand up. Meanwhile, in the distance, Potts saw this and tried to run towards him.

Unfortunately, Coulson, after dismissing the remaining agents, followed Potts.

Because the situation didn't seem too dangerous.

Tony took a few cautious steps, and although he wanted to take down Stane himself, now was not the time to be reckless.

His chest ached slightly, and his face turned pale as he rushed towards Potts.

Looking at himself under the moonlight, Tony faintly understood something.

That was a new type of material! Otherwise, this design, which was so unreasonable, wouldn't support high-intensity combat!

It must be!

If Red knew about this, he would make fun of him, saying it was just a different coating, not much else.

"Click..."

"Click..."

Kurumi didn't hold back her strength. Although 'Nightmare' had never left a white mark on concrete surfaces, she was creating an atmosphere now.

So, Stane, sitting in the Iron Monger, turned green.

He wanted to escape! He wanted to get out of this cursed place!

But he couldn't move his body at all!

"Damn, damn, damn!"

"Who are you?"

His voice sounded old and hoarse. Anyone who could see Stane would find his eyes bloodshot, far from an average human!

The black and red mech didn't answer and continued to walk forward slowly, leaving footprints in the ground with every step, causing Stane's heart to pound violently each time!

And the sound of the spear scraping the ground was driving him insane!

"Buzz!"

The air trembled lightly! The black and red mech casually held the spear in its hand while the tip of the spear was aimed directly at Stane!

The speed was too fast! Even though everyone could see that it was done casually, without the assistance of cameras and the unassisted Tony, they couldn't even make out a blur!

Tony glanced at his 'Mark' and only momentarily felt a tinge of sadness. Another surge of defiance welled up in him.

If they could do it, Earth's technology could achieve it!

He could do it as long as Earth's technology could do it!

"Boom!"

While Tony was still lost in thought, the black and red mech had already engaged in combat with the Iron Monger!

It seemed like an adult playing with a baby.

The Iron Monger was utterly helpless in the hands of the mysterious mech, continuously being struck by the long spear. With sheer brutality, the spear tore large gashes in the iron as if it were child's play!

As if getting tired of it, the spear, like a dragon swimming in the raging sea, pierced the Iron Monger's body in an instant!

"Boom!"

There was no explosion. Instead, a strange flame began to burn inside the Iron Monger.
