"Do you have misgivings about Director Fury?"

Rogers stepped inside the lab, his eyes fixed straight on Stark, as if the other man would do something out of character if he didn't give him a satisfactory explanation!

"After all, he is one of the best of the agents, unfathomable! Only by removing all doubts can I do my job with peace of mind."

"You feel the same way, don't you? Dr. Banner?"

Seeing Stark asking questions at himself, Banner, who was testing the Mind Scepter on the side, didn't know how to answer for a moment.

"Uh ... I just want to finish the matter at hand and then ..."

"Doctor!" Rogers looked serious.

"Fine." Dr. Banner was obviously a bit helpless, "As I said before in the conference room, Stark is attacking the energy field, and these things are not secret. Even Stark Tower is self-sufficient."

"What's the connection between the two before?" Rogers frowned, it was indeed difficult for him to interject himself into this kind of top science as a soldier.

"Don't you get it?" Madsan covered her mouth and laughed lightly from the side, reminding, "What is the Tesseract?"

"A square block of energy?"

"Yes, a square energy block, a strange tesseract that theoretically possesses endless energy. And in the field of energy, nowadays, no one should have more say than Stark."

Upon hearing this, Tony immediately handed the bagged blueberries he held in his hand to Madsan.

"Thanks, I don't like blueberries."

"Then what do you like to eat?" Tony raised an eyebrow, "Next time I can treat you to a big meal."

"A big burger dinner?"

Tony gave a grin, "If you want."

"How about taking Andre & Ms. Boz with you by the way?"

Tony shook his head, "I don't think that would be a good idea."

Rogers mused off to the side for a moment, "So ... You guys suspect something is wrong with Fury because Stark wasn't invited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to participate in the Tesseract program?"

Madsen tapped his little head, "Problematic to a fault, but at least there's something he's hiding from us. What could it be?" Burgundy eyes narrowed into a crescent shape, "Captain Rogers, do you remember the weapons Hydra created using the Tesseract during World War II?"

"This ..." Rogers was surprised, "No way, that kind of weapon just shouldn't appear in the world."

"Nuclear bombs shouldn't be in the world either."

Rogers fell silent, "I'm going to take a look at the bottom of the Sky Carrier, Stark, can you provide me with a map?"

"Why don't you wait here for a few hours? Jarvis will be able to breach the S.H.I.E.L.D. system in a few minutes."

"Do you need my help?"

The young girl's voice rang out, and the three of them subconsciously looked toward Madoka.

"Nah~ I have the authority to mobilize 75% of Embraer's computing power~"

"75%?" The corners of Tony and Dr. Banner's eyes twitched, while Rogers was in two minds.

"Are you serious?" Tony Blueberry also stopped eating, "I mean, if this part of the computing power is mobilized, will the virtual world kick out the majority of the players again, just like last time, right after an announcement?"

"Stop stop stop!" Tony suddenly realized, "The bad thing that happened last time, it wouldn't also be you little girl jerking off!"

Madsan blinked innocently, "What's wrong?"

"My God!" Tony almost exploded, slightly agitated, "Do you know how difficult it was for us to raid that boss last time? It looked like it was down to its last ounce of blood ..."

Madsan took two steps back to prevent Stark from spraying spit on himself.

Stark gradually calmed down and finally asked again, "When will you guys open the recharge function? I'm going to kryptonite blast!"

"Uh ..." Dr. Banner reminded, "Since you're so close to Brooks, Stark, why don't you ask her for a gm account?"

Before Maniac 3 could say anything, Tony waved his hand in a hurry, "This kind of real game where you climb up from the bottom to the top a little bit is the fun part...

If I were to crush it from the start, what's the difference between that and what I am now?"

Rogers, who couldn't understand what these three were discussing, coughed a few times to hide his embarrassment.

"Shouldn't we get to work?"

Tony picked up the bag of blueberries and leaned against the edge of the stage, turning his head to look at Mad Three, "Little male ... Okay, Brooks, just mobilize 30% of your computing power, don't push too hard."

"An-la~" Madsan's slender jade hands tapped rapidly on the screen.

"Red Queen, mobilize 30% of Embraer's computing power to assist Jarvis!"

"Ding~" A readout immediately appeared on the screen.

And Tony received the message from Jarvis from his headset.

"Sir, forty-five seconds left in the estimated cracking time."

Tony raised his eyebrows lightly, "This computational mobilization won't be detected by S.H.I.E.L.D., will it?"

"Rest assured, sir, Embraer has provided brand new algorithms with very advanced encryption, far beyond modern technology."

"Well~" a hint of surprise appeared on Tony's face, "Looks like I'll have to visit Embraer sometime. Maybe my clean energy program can be upgraded and expanded again."

Seeing the speed of the readout already visible to the naked eye on the screen, Madoka nudged the machine to the center.

"Anytime."

"Drip~drip~drip~"

"What's wrong?"

Rogers was vaguely upset as he saw a red alert light up on the screen.

Madsan's face was unchanged, "It's nothing too big, it's just that when we breached the classified file, we triggered the alarm left by the other party."

"What then?" Rogers frowned, he wasn't thinking of antagonizing the government authorities right now.

"Don't worry about it, Fury and the others won't be able to find us."

"Yeah~" Madoka said quietly, "But he's not a fool, and you're definitely the first suspect for a problem like this on an air carrier."

"Oh yeah?" Tony filled his mouth with another blueberry, "You're an accomplice too."

"Accomplices are accomplices, let's find out what interesting things that Fury guy is hiding."

Madoka reached out and slid her hand slightly, the screen was filled with all kinds of information, and the most eye-catching of them all was an energy weapon based on the prototype of Hydra's gun from the World War II era!

"It looks like we've learned some remarkable secrets."

"Is this thing really capable of shooting people into nothingness with a single shot?"

Tony slid up and down through the information with some skepticism.

"Analyzing from the information, the principle is similar to annihilation."

"Annihilation?" Rogers frowned, subconsciously nodding his skull after recalling the power of that kind of weapon.

Tony slid the information aside and hid it in a file, turning his head to look at Madsan, "What's that? A magic term?"

"You could think so." Madsan shrugged his shoulders, "Generally it refers to the annihilation of humans themselves into nothingness, even their souls. But with this kind of energy weapon, I'm not sure if it's capable of inflicting damage to human souls yet."

"You also believe that thing exists?" Tony was a little curious.

The other two all looked towards Madoka.

"What? The soul has always existed... in a way, it's more like another continuation of the spirit."

"Like those magic inscriptions?"

"Want to put some on the 'Mark'?"

"What do I need to prepare?"

"An energy converter, a suit of 'Mark' armor, and yourself."

"And an inscription on your body?"

"Of course not, I just want you to design your own look."

"Right." Madsen turned around and tapped on the screen for a moment before looking sideways towards Captain America, "Rogers, the weapon samples are there in the classified warehouse, could I trouble you to retrieve them?"

"Good."

...

"Giggle~"

The glass door to the lab opened automatically, and Fury walked in from outside with a black face, and before the man could stand, he asked towards Tony, "Stark! What the hell do you want?"

"I have some questions like you do."

Fury's face didn't change as he continued to question, "You should be looking for the Tesseract right now."

"True, but we've got it covered, it's matching the search signals and if it goes well, it can pinpoint it to within half a kilometer."

Hearing what Dr. Banner said, Fury looked towards the other side of the screen and only looked better.

"Yeah, don't worry, sooner or later we'll find the Tesseract." Tony said without a care in the world, "What is 'Phase 2'?"

"Snap! ~"

Before Fury could return to his senses, a loud bang caught his eye.

Rogers' eyes had gone slightly cold as he looked at Fury, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D..

"Don't bother, I've already brought the samples."

Rogers took a breath as if he was forcibly suppressing the indignation in his heart, "The second phase was S.H.I.E.L.D. utilizing the Tesseract to create a weapon, the samples are right here, is there anything else that you would like to explain, Director?"

"Rogers, just because we collected all the information about the Tesseract doesn't mean we're going to use it to make weapons."

Fury tried to placate Captain America, but the results didn't seem very impressive.

"Come on, Fury." Tony spun the screen right around and the weapon building drawings were in full view on it.

Spreading his hands, "The truth is we knew about it, we just didn't realize you were still defending yourself after all this."

"Director Fury, it seems the world has never changed."

Thor and Natasha, who heard the whole thing, also grimaced and walked in from outside. Especially Thor, who looked at Fury with unfriendly eyes.

After all, just a moment ago, the two of them were talking about some things, and now it seemed that things were not so simple.

Madoka sat at the back of the lab table and silently took out a cup of black tea from the void.

Although the afternoon had long since passed, how could she be missing out on a cup of tea and a movie?

Dr. Banner, still looking like an honest man, saw Natasha who walked in and asked with a stiff smile, "You wouldn't know anything about this too, would you?"

"So what if I am? You're still standing here working for us?"

Dr. Banner forced a smile and shook his head, "The truth is I wanted to leave when I was in Calcutta."

"Loki is using you." Natasha grimaced and took a few steps forward.

Dr. Banner took just the right amount of steps back as well, "And what did you do to me?"

"You're not going to come here because I winked at you."

"Then I'm not going to leave because you're feeling uneasy."

Perhaps flustered from her earlier conversation with Loki, Natasha's words were punctuated with barbs, and Dr. Banner clearly didn't want to talk to her again.

Taking a few steps to the side, he came to the screen and pointed his finger at the various information on it, asking towards Fury, "I just want to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. would use the Tesseract to create a weapon of mass destruction?"

Fury was silent for a moment and lifted his finger towards Thor, "Because of him!"

"Me?" Thor frowned, seemingly a little confused.

Several of the lab's gazes all gathered on Fury, and the seasoned director didn't fluster for a second.

"Some time ago, some alien visitors came to Earth and destroyed a small town in their fight, and if it wasn't for the 'Nightmare' stopping them, we can't imagine how bad things could have gotten."

"As a matter of fact, this is the first time I've received information about the damage to the 'Nightmare'." Fury turned back to look at the crowd, "I'm sure most of you here, know exactly what the 'Nightmare' is capable of, including Brooks, and no one knows better than her, since she's the one piloting it."

"Nightmare has taken on the Tie Fighter and the Abomination in battles that have been documented and re-documented before." Fury glanced at Dr. Banner again, "Perhaps the Hulk should also be added. It's power needs no introduction, but even so! I only double-checked it when Intelligence submitted the information!"

"For the first time we know that there are other intelligent beings in the universe, far more powerful than us. Last time a 'Nightmare' stood out, so what about this time, or the next?"

"It's you! Or is it you!?" Fury was a little agitated, and after taking a few light breaths, "We're nothing compared to those alien beings, and Thor certainly isn't the only one. Sooner or later, there will be aliens much more powerful than him, and at that time, they are going to be a threat to Earth, what are we going to do?"

"So you're going to control the Tesseract?"

After Rogers questioned, Thor took two more steps forward and said forcefully, "It's precisely because you developed the Tesseract that invited Loki and the others! You've released a signal to the Nine Realms, declaring that Earth is ready for a high profile war!"

"You're the one who forced the issue in the first place, we always have to be prepared." Fury did not show any weakness and gave a counterattack.

Stark, on the other hand, frowned at the back, "High profile war? It's better to suppress it with nuclear weapons, this thing always avoids a big fight."

Inexplicable anger rose in Fury's heart and he turned to look at Tony, "Stark, I'd forgotten that you relied on war to get started!"

"He always made weapons of mass destruction." Rogers stepped forward to interject.

"Hey hey hey!" Tony frowned tightly and questioned Rogers, "Why are you turning the tables on me?"

"Why? Aren't you always the center of attention?"

The two were arguing when Thor glanced at Fury and mocked, "I thought Earth was already a higher civilization!"

Fury averted his eyes back from the two Rogers and looked like he was owed a fight, "I'm sorry, did we run off to Asgard to fight?"

"You guys are so naive, S.H.I.E.L.D. is always watching for potential threats." Natasha stared at Thor, completely oblivious to the two men on the other side of the room who had long since gotten into a fight.

Dr. Banner clasped his hands to his chest, a grin plastered on his face, "So, Captain America counts as a potential threat?"

"We all are."
