"My name's Sven. Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Do I know you?"
Nikita is not aware of her classmates' identities because she never talked to them. Even though she doesn't know them, they all know her because of her bad reputation in class.
"No, I guess not. Haha! It's actually my first time seeing you. Are we even classmates?" Sven replied as he scratches his forehead.
"I need to go." As Niki was trying to get pass through Sven, their other classmates arrived that leads her to be pushed back inside the room, and soon enough their homeroom teacher gets in. She has no other choice left but to take her seat and hope that after the first class is over, she can get out.
Sven looks at her as she takes the farthest seat at the very back corner. The sole empty seat almost throughout the year. The one seat when asked about, is always told as the ghost's.
"Hey." Sven called out for her after the class.
With a confused look on her face, she asked why. He then asked if she can go buy some snacks with him at the cafeteria.
"Go buy them yourself. I am not your chaperone." She hides her face with the hood of her sweater, put her head on her desk and pretend to sleep.
Sven squat in front of her and leaned a bit to whisper something like,
"Do you want to cut classes? I can help you out."
Niki peeks through her hoodie and she saw him smile just like before. In her head is like,
"Why is this dude fooling around with me?"
At the rooftop, both of them are sipping some chocolate milk with a hot steamed bun in their hands.
"Sorry, I didn't mean that I can help you go out of the campus. Haha!"
"Yeah, I thought that's the case." She replied with a poker face while sipping the last drop out of her milk carton.
"Why do you always skip classes?" He asked without reluctance.
Hoping to make this guy feel uncomfortable and taken aback, she replied with an annoyed tone,
"One reason is because I don't like people like you who tries to stick their noses on other people's shit."
A sudden silence enveloped the area. Thinking she said the right thing to put him on his place, she looked at him with a smirk and rolling eyes... That turned into a confused frown as she saw his innocent face slightly smile.
"I like people like you, though."
