New Faces

Traveling through blankness, with the view of a clear six feet gem straight ahead, Nikita's walk turned into a pace then a run. The memory crystal is floating in the air. One touch, and all of her existence fully recuperated.

A blurry image appeared in her mind. In that vision, she can see cuts and bruises on the skin of someone. Little by little, the sight becomes clearer and distinct. She felt the pain as if it was hers, but her body didn't show any signs of wound. Even in pain, she didn't exclaim nor cry - as if the ache is something she is used to.

"The memory crystal doesn't only give you back your full existence, but also gives back some of your memories from Earth. To add to that, it stores all of your memories from your journey up until to this locale, just like a saving point." Hailstorm explained further.

"What's the point of saving my memories if I will die anyways?" Asked the addled Nikita. She can't understand the idea of this and the sword can't blame her.

"I will explain to you next time. For now, I need you to go to the portal to Survival."

The intuition of someone is stealthily watching her from somewhere near, made her put herself on guard; sensing even the slightest changes in her surroundings.

"Are you heading towards the portal too?" An overfamiliar voice asked. She looked around and saw two people walking towards her from a distance, one is male and one is female.

"Do I know you?" She replied with the feeling of dèjá vu creeping in.

"No, I guess not. Haha! It's actually my first time seeing you." Said the guy with a smile that blinds the eyes. While the other one says something like,

"We're trying to exit this dimension too. Oh, my name's Lily."

These two are people like her who were sent in this dimension by the moon goddess. Similar to Nikita, both of them lost some of their memories when they got here; but they recovered some when they touched the crystal. Sven, the one who looks extroverted, is accompanied by Contagion, the poison twin needles. While Levin, the lightning whip, is Lily's attendant. Altogether, they tried to find the portal - which is invisible from the map. The only clue they have is that the portal is guarded by a dense number of feeble egos.

Another blaring gun shot echoed throughout blankness, it appears to be from the same type of gun from before. A bit further in the Northern horizon, they saw a massive explosion creating a huge smoke shaped like a giant basidium. Nikita hastily run to the site of fulmination and the other two followed. Quite some time has passed before they reached the area, without feeling any fatigue and decrease in stamina from running kilometers nonstop.

"We've wiped-out all of the feeble egos right in front of this portal. You're way too late for the party." Said the girl with a massive energy gun on her hands. While the guy carrying a shield behind her say,

"The portal is clear and open. Let's all get in."
