Missing Portal

A bit disappointed about her newly retrieved memory, Nikita started her walk to look for the portal and leave the others behind; quite indifferent about the death of Lily, for she remembered that girl just shrugged her shoulders when she needed help. Nikita's heart is locked again, no one can break this latch, unless she opens it. Trusting is something that she recognizes that she cannot accept to do. In the end, she just continues to keep eveything to herself, the only person who will undersand and help.

"Don't harden your heart. Not everything you see is the truth." Hailstorm tries to make Nikita calm, but Nikita asked what does the katana mean, in a mad tone of voice.

"You need to understand why people choose different actions than what you would do. They have their own reasons." The katana added.

"I don't need to hear that shit."

...

Still in utter shock from Lily's departure, Sven looks at Nikita who's already walking ahead, eyes are dead wide opened - seems offended from her behavior. He tried to jog his way to her, and when he reached her very place, he held her shoulder and she stopped.

"Don't touch me." She said in disgust. Sven is puzzled as to why Nikita suddenly acts this way. Earlier, she was just hoping that Lily would win her fight, like a very thoughtful person, but now she just changed.

"Are you okay?" Asked Sven, who realized that maybe Nikita remembered something from her past.

"I don't need your concern. Who knows, maybe you're just like her." Nikita replied, seemingly wanting to make a wall between them. Even though she is quite comfortable with Sven's presence, she wanted to take precaution.

Nikita shove away his hand from her shoulder and continued to find the missing portal. The others started to follow when they see the two of them are a bit further ahead. The portals are never going to appear in the map that they have. If blankness' clue to the portal is a dense number of feeble egos, the portal in survival has a different one. The portal can only be seen if they are able to detach and smash Endure's core, just like a key to a door.

"Where could Endure be?" Asked Sue, wondering where in this vast land is one of the defiled's lord is hiding. Gravel, the great stone shield offered them a clue that he gained from the moon goddess.

"Endure lives in an isolated marshland. It has the head of a wolf and a body of a human. Be careful, Endure is a very powerful being."
