The Marsh

They all looked at their own maps for the marshland, and somewhere a thousand kilometers from where they are currently standing, they can see an expansive area appearing to be a body of water covered in foliage. They walk together to the site and while on the way to the location, Sven initiated a conversation just to break the deafening silence.

"What did you guys remember from the crystals so far?" He asked with a slight smile on his face.

"Just about how I met Lily." Sue replied a very limited answer, while Jae said the exact same.

"Do you have the same retrieved memory?" Nikita asked Sven and he answered yes.

"I met her in school, she's ill. Her boyfriend is a friend of mine. Lily is a kind person, she always smiles even when she's hurt." He added a bit of details to make the conversation a bit longer. Nikita is still isn't convinced that Lily is a good person for real, because she's never shown that kindness to her.

"I just met her once. I don't really know anything about her." Nikita stated from a deep breath and continued to walk her way with this typical poker face she has.

They reached the marshland's border after some hours. The plants are black in color but are not dead, and the water is murky red like it is mixed with blood. The area is quite big and they don't know where to start finding Endure. Jae, with the sharpest intuition among them, told everyone that Endure might be in the very center of the place; as he can sense a thick and dense stench that he hasn't known before, so they opened up their maps and started heading towards the mid point of the marsh.

When they reached their destination, they all saw a gigantic cage shaped like a dome made of black rods, and right at its midst lies the might of perseverance. Its head is like a wolf, its body is like a human's, and its arms are bulky like a gorilla's. Endure is fast asleep.

"How do we get in there?" Asked Jae as he tries to touch one of the black rods. A sudden loss of energy circulated throughout his body.

"It seems the question should be, how can we get him out of there." Nikita replied. She said that it's going to be a disadvantage for them if they fight Endure inside that cage. They realized the black rods, the very material of the cage, drains their strength.

From the noises they made, Endure's slumber's been interrupted. Its eyes that burn literal fire transported everyone inside of the enclosure. The black rods make them feel physically weak, supressing their immense stamina and endurance that the moon goddess had given from the very start, even without making contact with it. Now they are all in panic - thinking of various ways as to how they can defeat Endure, or even just get its core out. Oddly, the core isn't placed anywhere visible from the naked eye, not even engraved somewhere on its body.

"Where is its core?"
