Chapter 19

When I left the room with Roger, we ended up in another room half the size of the room I was in. It looked like a standard office room with bookshelves on each wall and a desk on the other side of where we came in with a huge window behind it. Also, there was a coffee table in the middle with two coaches on each side.

"So the main reason I wanted to talk to you is that I wanted to see how you are feeling," Roger smiled as he sat down at his desk, "Also, how is school senior year going as well."

"Everything is going well. School is normal as usual," I said as I walked over to the couch.

"That's always good. Also, Trixi might have told you about Ziggy and what happened," Roger smiled lightly, "it's not a bad thing to tell people it's in the past, know."

"She only told the story because of my middle name," I smiled, hoping to make the mood lighten up a little.

"It's all good Ziggy and Andrew were childhood friends before I came along in middle school. So that is why he gave you the middle name Ziggy. So that he could still have some of his childhood friends with him. They were like brothers more than Andrews's brother Cooner. Who was always an asshole to Andrew every time he had a chance," Roger laughed a little, then stooped when he mentioned Conner.

"I remember my father telling me that my middle name was special, but he would never tell me why. Instead, he would always cry when I asked," I said, remembering how he would walk away and start crying every time I brought it up.

"Well, now you know where your middle name Ziggy came from," Roger laughed, "Let's move on to another topic."

I really thought he would get mad, but he was just mellow and talked like everything did not really bother him. I woulder if Trixi will be okay? Know that Roger found out. At least I did not tell him he just found out. Damn, I wish Riden was in here as well.

"So, how are your doctor checkups going with Nathan. Everything still good?" Roger smiled, this time looking happy, "also, if you need anything, just let me know."

"The checkups are going good. We will find out the gender four months from now," I laughed from seeing how happy Roger was.

"That's good to hear," Roger grinned, "I'm thrilled that you are a part of our family now and also having my grandchild."

Roger looks a lot older know that he is not smiling like he always does. Instead, he just smiles with a tiring look on his face. I wonder if it is because of the man that hit his best friend. I want to ask, but I feel like it will just make it worse.

"So the main reason I asked you here is that I thought you should know about Olivia. Also, why I'm not with her anymore," Roger said, still looking sad as he spoke, "Olivia Clark. Later known as Olivia Richerson when she married me. Olivia died giving birth to her third child Rainer. Olivia was thirty-five when she passed away. Olivia always smiled whenever she was with her friends, no maker what was going on. She did have a temper only when people messed with her family or friends. I'm telling you this because I thought that anything could happen to you since your having a child. Even when you think you will be fine, it could happen when you least expect it."

"I understand," I said because I really did I did not expect my father to die and not me. I didn't expect to be with Riden and get married to him. I definitely did not thaught I wouldn't be pregnant.

"I know you do. I just thought you should hear it again," Roger smiled sadly, "just remember I will be here if you ever need to talk or just to vent about anything. I promised your father that if anyone of us passed away, we would help take care of each other's kids. I know your wondering where I was when you were growing up, but I'm here now, and it will not change no matter what."

"Thank you, Mr. Richerson," I smiled, looking at him as he finally looked a little happier.

"Just call me father from now on since we are family," Roger laughed, this time having his happy look again.

"Will do, father," I laughed, feeling happy that he does not look sad.

After talking to Roger and laughing for no reason, he took me back to the room where Riden and Raylon waiting. I am happy that I was not worried about talking to Roger than I thought. He just worries about the tiny thing because three people he loved left him. Leaving him with sadness and worry about all the little things.

When Roger opened the door, there was a third person in the room. He looked the same height as Riden and Raylon. However, when I looked closer, the person was a man with blonde hair and green eyes like Raylon and Rainer; he just looked older.

"It's good to see Ryker," Roger smiled as he looked at the man.

"It's good to see you to father," Ryker smiled, looking just like his brother Raylon and Rainer.
