Jea was so annoyed after she talked to her father in his office, she walked straight into the room, ignoring her fiance approaching her with a worried face. All she needed now was a hot bath to rid my temper and resentment towards her father.
Arriving in the bedroom, she threw the LV pouch over the bed and stripped off the off-shoulder tulip green dress she wore, taking the robe that hung inside the bathroom. Jea can't do the things she wants to do yet, and she forgot to call Iris when she got home.
Jea approached the bed, reached for the pouch, and took the phone out of it and dropped the purse on the bed, and turned around, surprised to see her fiance approaching her habit and she quickly came to him at the door and kissed him on the cheek, and put her arm around his neck.
Keay stared intently at the face of the person she loved. How lucky she was marrying this handsome man in front of her. She stared at his deep blue eyes that she liked and smiled widely. How lucky she was to be the fiancee and soon to be the wife of Alexander Kyle Astatien.
"I am sorry, hon, I passed you without giving a kiss," Jea said sadly.
"I understand you, hon. How's your day?" His eyes were full of sincerity.
She touched his face, and a smile curved her lips. "It's not good, but when I saw you, my day became wonderful." She caressed the side of her fiance's perfect jawline.
"Won't you ask me, hon? How's my day?" he teasingly asked.
Jea carefully examined Alexander's face's totality and made traces of his face with her delicate fingers. "Tell me, hon. How's your day?"
He pushed her closer to him—both their bodies pinning to each other. Then Alexander whispered to her ear.
"I miss you so much," he said, and Jea could hear what was being said in the tone of his voice.
During a busy week at work, her fiance never once crossed in her mind. She admitted she forgot about him during that week.
Do I blame myself? She doesn"t have time to think outside of her job as a doctor. Her father disliked her profession and wanted her to manage one of his businesses. But because Jea doesn't type the business world. She followed her dream more than him.
"I miss you so much, you know that." she kissed him so tenderly to get back at what she had done to him. He turned her to face him and embraced her.
"Ehem!"
It was interrupted by what the two were doing, at the same time they looked at the back where the voice was coming from. Jea was surprised when she saw her brother. Her older brother folded his arms without a smile on his face.
She took two steps away from her fiance. She doesn"t like the bad look Ivan gave her.
"Hey," Alexander said, the one who recovered abruptly.
"Hi Kuya, why are you here?" Jea asked, and embarrassed in her because of what she was wearing.
Why now she feels so stupid about herself. Jea needs to think enough, and she hopes her older brother doesn't believe she was attracting her fiance to do the thing. It's against her family to have sex without getting married.
She was the only one who knew herself if something had happened or not between the two of her and her fiancee. And she never tried that. She swears it.
"I need to talk to you, little sis." Ivan's serious face worried her. Why is it? Is he angry with her action?
Jea looked at Alexander first, waiting for an answer from him if it was ok. "It's fine, and I definitely have a dinner meeting today. Bye, hon. I love you," he kissed her cheek.
"I love you too, hon." Jea grabbed his right arm and smiled.
"I gotta go now, Ivan," he said goodbye to her brother.
Her older brother just nodded at him. Even if the two of them don't tell her, it's evident that her older brother doesn't like her fiance, but Alex understands that. He left as soon as she let go of his arm and looked at him as he left until he disappeared from her sight.
"What are we going to talk about?" Suddenly her face became serious.
"Little sis, I need your help." Jea just heard her brother plead with her. Traces on his face are a problem she does not comprehend. How big is that? And is he asking for my help?
"What is it, brother?" She was curious what help might her older brother wanted.
He took a small metal box with a strange design. The three snakes curl up in the box, and the head of the first snake is on the gaping surface while the two are on either side of the box overlooking the sharp fangs it had. Jae will admit that she was amazed at the quality of the design. In that box, she knew it would hold an earring or maybe a ring.
"I'll leave it to you, Little Sis. I was hoping you could keep it safe as long as I come back and get this to you. You're the only one I can trust in this matter. Promise me you won't tell anyone about this matter. It"s important to me," he said, looking at the box like that was so very important.
Jae would have refused, but she never did. Her older brother needs her help, and why would she even deny simple help?
"You can count on me, brother," Jae assured as he trusted her with this beautiful box.
A smile from on her older brother, and he handed the box to her. "I'll wait for you there. Are you excited about your wedding?" his question of puffiness.
She stared at him, and gradually her eyebrows rose.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Her older brother notices her reaction.
"I didn't know that my elder brother was wearing a simple shirt and faded jeans," the smile emerged from her lips.
Only now has she seen her Kuya Ivan wear that kind of clothing; as far as she knows, he doesn't like that outfit. After all, it doesn't suit here because it's cheap.
Ivan shook his head and smiled. "Just in case you don't ask, I do wear cheap clothes." At once, he winked at her.
Jae couldn't stop laughing. "Are you going to my wedding?"
He straightened his back and tilted his head from left to right and back to her. "I will, but I can't promise you that I will like your Alexander," he said in a serious tone.
Jae was delighted at what he said and hugged her older brother tightly. She doesn't care if he doesn't like her Alexander as long as he'll be there for her wedding.
"Thanks, brother. You even lighten up my worst day," she planted a kiss on his cheek at the same time.
"Stop kissing my cheeks, you little sis." He loosened her embrace. "I'd better go now, see you around." And he stepped backward.
"Okay, Kuya. See you around. I love you," Jae waved to him, who couldn't take the smile off her lips.
He turned his back and grinned at her once, waving with his right hand and stepping away, walking directly up the stairs. When her older brother finally disappeared from her sight, she went back into her room and closed it, and stood near the bed. Eyes focused on the box she was holding.
"I know the best place to hide you, Worthy." Jae giggled at the name. Worthy? Not bad. Her brows furrowed to the idea that went to her. Is this the first time her eldest brother asked for help from her, which is so weird?
"WE HAVE five days to wait," Airiz mentioned of the upcoming wedding of one of the Demonie siblings.
Venice was stirring her coffee on the kitchen table while her eyes were on the news on the living room's television. News about the upcoming wedding of a famous international model, Alexander Kyle Astatien. It was on the morning show of Unang Hirit on channel 7. Host Arnold Clavio interviewed the man. The guy has a charm that can make a girl drool and she admitted it, the man is handsome and his grass-colored green eyes get attention in the middle of the day. She turned her gaze to Airiz who had fallen on the soft leather couch while eating a burger whose eyes focus on the flat-screen television.
"Right, you want coffee?" Venice offered her.
"Nah, I don't drink coffee now. Have you done reading the folder I gave you yesterday?" Airiz asked, chewing.
Venice went out of the kitchen and sat on the couch opposite Airiz and she set the cup down on the center table to lean back and look out the living room window. She can see here the trees outside that surround half of the mansion. The Rose Sisters have long owned the large mansion since it was established seven years ago. Athena, one of the group members, had bought the house as their base. It has a large garden in the back with different types of flowers and plants planted. In the center of the garden is the fountain included in the purchase.
The mansion has three floors. On the roof deck is the large swimming pool, on the third floor are the bedrooms, on the second is the bar room, meeting room, playing room and on the ground floor is the kitchen, dining room, living room, library room and a door to the training gym located right wing of the mansion.
A few seconds passed as Venice answered Airiz's question. "Yepp, now I understand why the Empress wants Aces because there is something from him that she wants. That's what we'll find out and why."
"Something?" Then Airiz smiled widely before she looked vividly at the tv.
Alexander Kyle Astatien is still on TV and now with his bride-to-be, the woman's arm was wrapped around the man's strong right arm. A happy couple.
"What do you think of her?" Airiz asked Venice.
"She's gorgeous. Her eyes are beautiful. A vivid pitch-black. I like how she smiles confidently," Venice commented.
"Yeah, right. Yet, I'm way more beautiful than her," Airiz joked as she pulled under the center table the fallen remote control.
Venice gave her a laughing response. Way more beautiful? Eh? She smiled as she sipped the coffee and she didn't say anything to Airiz.
"Start of your class?" Airiz changes the topic moving the channel and decided to stop at the Sports channel.
"9:30. English subject." Venice looked at the wall clock hanging over the kitchen door.
"Lucky! My class starts at 8:30." Airiz sat with a grimace on her face. How she hates Tuesday classes. She'll be sucked in history class, knowing she hated it.
"Good luck to history," Venice said with a soft laugh."So how's being the school governor? I bet, it's awesomely fun."
Airiz rolled her eyes and sighed. "Thanks for annoying me, ask my dad for that."
"I understand you," Venice added while raising her right palm flat at chin level and it went up and down.
"Crazy!" Airiz laughed.
"I'm not crazy, I'm me," Venice joked, and took the cushion, throwing it to her.
Airiz laughed as she effortlessly wards it off. "You need improvement, Ven." Here again, she is pissing Venice.
"I think it's better if I prepared breakfast for myself. It seems you have already eaten." Venice stood up and sauntered toward the kitchen holding her cup.
"Good idea, for sure Audrei hasn't taken her bf. I'd better go to the bathroom before mommy says so."
Venice glared at her, and Airiz ran to the stairs, and the place clamored of her strong guffaw. Why is she so good at annoying anyone? Venice thought.
