Ch. 174 The Crimson Fox Monarchs

Aria didn't want to die, but her body felt numb this second and couldn't move. She could only call out to Lyod, but her voice was so low it was almost a whisper.

She was sure Lyod wouldn't be able to hear her and could only close her eyes in resignation as the scorpion king spread its mouth wide to devour Aria.

Aria anticipated being in some slimy cave, but the feeling never came. Instead, she felt her body lift and soar into the air, and as soon as she emerged from that yellow mist, she smelled the distinctive scent of Lyod.

Opening her eyes, she could see Lyod's handsome face now looking at her worriedly.

"Sorry, I came late." finally, Aria called him for him to hear.

Aria wanted to refute those words because Lyod had come just in time for her. However, she coughed, and a lump of blood came out of her mouth.

"Aria!" Lyod became increasingly panicked, seeing her pale complexion and coughing up blood.
